Sometime in life you think there's not much can really shock you!
Well last night just before i was to go to bed i had a look at the BBC news on the www web,
(living here in france its one of the better places to read the english news and it gives news from all parts of the uk)

Well a man has been found guilty of having sex with a "GOAT" he admitted the action and was named and shamed,
the farmer who owns the goat was said to have pointed out the goats vet bill and damage done to this animal.

When i read such things and being just an ordinary person i cant help but think what a sad world some people live in.

Im really shocked to read such things and i thought i'd heard it all

Apparently tanti is an archaic adjective meaning worthwhile.

thatbags Sun 15-Sept-13 20:30:47

The modern version clearly has a different derivation smile

I CBA to report such a pathetic thread - did report the racist language - oh naughty naughty playground monitor!!! But come on - who really wants threads about bestiality - if there is an issue, it's a very sad one for the people involved in it and not a jokey thing

Of course you did - what would we do without you, bluebell? hmm

bluebell Sun 15-Sept-13 20:55:37

Well Ana probably lots of us did but no doubt you thought it was perfectly OK to use racist language!

Ana Sun 15-Sept-13 20:58:59

Sorry, not rising to it.....

To be fair, the BBC thought fit to report on it, although only locally. I think we could have done without the thread though, if only because it was cruel to an obviously sick individual. I'm surprised at the Beeb tbh.

WTH was the point of the OP? To shock? (CBA) To amuse? (failed) To titillate (hope not ) Sorry poppy1 if you are still around, not interested.

Actually, to be fair! Psychologically, it's an interesting topic!
The Pompeins found it so!
There is a. Entire 'camera segreto'(?sp) devoted to it in the national museum in Naples!
It used to be closed to all except "serious researers" but is now open to all for a small fee!
We didn't pay it,but there was no one there so we walked round hmm

How many men men can you you see for fornicating with animals, before you get bored stiff flaccid(if you're a man)

j08 Sun 15-Sept-13 22:46:01

Oh God! hmm

feetlebaum Sun 15-Sept-13 22:51:26

Of course it's an interesting topic - and it's an old one too: it wasn't new when Leviticus was written...

Deedaa Sun 15-Sept-13 23:06:21

When we went round the Camera Segreto I did begin to wonder if the Romans ever used any normal shaped oil lamps Galen I would have thought some of the less well endowed blokes would have been quite put off smile

I have only heard people refer to a tantrum as a tanti, so maybe it is spelt tanty. I don't know but maybe someone on Mumsnet does.
