I've only recently found Gransnet, but I think you may already have saved my life. I've spent the last couple of days reading through many, many threads and discovered that there are some very wise and warm Gransnetters out there who really do seem to listen and care. And although I haven't really posted anything about myself, I'm beginning to feel that, if I need an ear - which I sometimes do - you're there with your wisdom and warmth. Knowing that has chased away some dark clouds. So thank you.

Hi there Dragonfly. Since my grandkids went to live overseas I have found Gransnet invaluable for both serious stuff and lighthearted banter...friends are even there in the middle of the night. Very comforting.
