I am finding Gransnetters are wise, caring and comforting: and I speak as someone who's needed to bare her soul a few times. I am so glad I found this site! Hope you feel at home here

Hello from me, too. I seem to have been here from day one (judging by the "won anything" thread), and they haven't kicked me out yet!

Hope you find your way round the site OK and enjoy the banter, wisdom and support which is always available on here. I can recommend the competitions too - some cracking prizes to be won and we even get to know who has won them AND sometimes it's someone familiar!

In the meantime, I'm about to put some left-over Santa Hat Brownies, from another GNetter's recipe, in soop's kitchen, if you'd like to bring a plate and take some home.

Hello dragonfly and everyone on gransnet. I have also been lurking for a while and ha ve been so happy to find such warm and supportive people on here. Its good to know there is always someone around for a chat or a virtual cup of tea if I feel I need company. Bit slow with the new tablet though.
