Well you all know how upset we where when Barney died and for the last week we have really noticed the void he has left in the house, well yesterday we had a call from a lady looking to rehome a Lapahapso so off we went this morning and now Poppy is settling in as you can see on my pictures, she has had a sad time but sure to be spoilt here with mr.glamma.

Lovely Glamma I have two Lhasa Apsos and love them to bits. If they've been badly treated they can be very wary of people (it's in their nature anyway) but with lots of TLC and walks I'm sure Poppy will give you back the love you give her.
How can anyone mistreat these sweet natured little dogs?

Mungo my dog says hi to Poppy and wishes her a very happy life in her new home. flowers

That's lovely glamma I'm sure you'll get a lot of pleasure from cuddling Poppy.

Thanks for the correst spelling Aka grin she has not been badly treated but her last owner died and was not found straight away so she is just a little subdued at the moment after being on her own for a few days poor thing but loads of TLC available here for sure, she is 2 yrs old and has found my bed and a comfy place on the sofa so making her mark.

What a shame, poor little thing. Anyway it sounds like she's settled in already. Taffy and Murphy send a big woof!

PS I quite liked the Lapahapso spelling.

How old is Poppy? She does appear to have settled in well and I loved the photo of her.

She looks so sweet, glamma. They are such perky little dogs. My friend sometimes minds one for her daughter. He was suspicious of me at first but within minutes was trying to get on my lap!

Marelli Sun 16-Feb-14 17:33:42

Oh, she's a bonny wee thing, glamma! She's lucky to have found you! smile

Ahhh...she looks quite at home there, glamma. I'm sure Barney would be wagging his tail with approval. Lucky Poppy to have found a home with you and Mr Glamma smile

Well the first night went very well ladies, only one slight hiccup she went to sleep on the big poof and slipped off during the night shock and has decided she does not like to sleep on the dog bed we bought her but all well,no crying etc and she is eating well, she has just been dried off after her 2nd walk of the day and tucked up on the sofa smile

Nelliemoser Mon 17-Feb-14 09:05:43

Glamma She looks lovely. Will you stick to trying to get her to sleep in her own bed, or like so many dog and cat owners do, will you give in and let her end up in or on your bed at night? wink
