Did you all know that according to Viking legend all the Norse gods are going to have a battle today which will destroy the world!

Now why can I remember a obscure piece of Viking mythology but forgot to buy chicken for my chicken casserole the other day confused

Beautifully timed for the last Great Battle of this year's York Viking Festival. Haven't heard from DS and family since they set out for it last night.hmm

That's what is worrying me!!

Also DGS (aged 3), walking round York, with his cloak, shield and sword, kept insisting that he wasn't a Viking he was a Saxon - and did the Saxons win? I hadn't the heart to tell him!
