The same sort of idiot that uses superglue wearing decent shirts.

Or hoovers carpets before the 4 and 5 year-olds arrive?

Or puts red socks in a hot white wash, saws up wood wearing best trousers, uses bleach on kitchen units but doesn't rinse it off.....

Or uses a heavy duty bleach mould spray in the walk in shower in bare feet then steps out onto the bath mat without rinsing of f their feet. I have a perfect print of my foot on the mat I've now turned over the mat and might run to Dunelm and replace it before OH notices

Or decides to clean wooden flooring straight after it has been laid and moves the furniture not realising that there were staples or something on the feet of the three piece suite resulting in a very long scratch on beautiful flooring which had only been down for half an hour

tanith like me you live not too far away from Dunelm and they have a sale on at present so you may get a bargain.

Charleygirl we have a Dunelm even closer than the one near you in the old Aladdin building on the A40 I can be there and back in a flash OH won't even notice I'm gone as he's playing 'puter'. thanks for the tip.

Thing is, once in Dunelm it's pretty difficult to get out again quickly!

Thanks tanith I had no idea that there was one there. The one over the fence from me suits my needs and I have learned to walk out of there with nothing if necessary.

Of course Dunelm was founded in Leicester!

I used to have a stall at Leicester Market nearby to the lad who went on to form the Dunelm Chain. It was really good value in it's infancy and great fun to shop in. Like all things he sold the business a while ago and became a millionaire, from humble beginnings, good luck to him. Whilst I still like Dunelm it has got a tad more expensive.

At least we use it have you ever watched the t.v progs. where they don't even use a polish and duster. I once joked on here I was Miss Haversham in the house cleaning lark but some of those people turn my tummy.

Teetime I have a pair of black knickers with those unmistakable orange spots that result from close contact with bleach. I can't imagine that I'd ever clean the house while wearing only my underwear so cannot even imagine how it's happened

Footprints on the bath mat sound like a design statement - I should just go with it!

I've done the mould cleaner on the feet, tanith and the splashes of bleach on various items. Also often put on poshest black top before cleaning teeth.

Bleach omg ruined quite few. Pairs trousers with it, keep old pair for if going blitz bathrooms but of course don't always wear them. I have also ruined quite few pedestal mats, also, maybe just slapdash worst was when I quickly threw bleach Down cloakroom loo with my fave boots on suede you can guess what happened!, still wore them for ages think they still lurk in cupboard.

or believes that if they are just touching up some paintwork they do not need to put a paint overall on because they are not doing enough to get it on their clothes.

Forgets to put the roast in the oven - so a scratch dinner tonight.

Forgets to switch the slow cooker on then comes home to find expected lovely casserole is still raw.

As for bleach...accidents have their uses. My ex bought the most horrendous red shorts. I mean really horrendous. I dropped a few hints which of course he ignored ...well he generally ignored me lol. In a moment of madness I accidentally splashed bleach on them then put them in the washing machine and swore blind I had no idea what had happened. He blamed the soap powder fortunately.

The sort of idiot man who starts soldering electrical things on the kitchen table with its heavy vinyl cloth, but does not think to put something over the cloth or protect it from being melted with dripping solder.

The Formica table got burnt by the drips as well. .

My dear mother once prepared the joint, surrounded it with potatoes - and took it upstairs and placed it neatly on her bed, where it stayed for some hours... on another occasion she filled the kettle and took it outside and left it on the dustbin.

Ages ago I accidently left the car door open slightly and unsurprisingly the battery ran down because the light inside was on. I swore blind that was not the cause.

This kind! Last time I went abroad I had problems finding the park and ride at the airport. I had noted down the wrong postcode.

I went miles out of my way by getting channelled on to a dual carriageway which took me away from the airport. the right car park by chance. By then I was in total panic, I grabbed my stuff and ran for the car park bus.

I came back a week later to find I had left the drivers window open for the whole week in February. Surprisingly the car was not soaking wet inside.

In Feb I am going to the meet and greet parking at the terminal itself. trouble is check in is at 6am. yawn
