I had not been to the cinema for quite a while, but then I discovered that our local Odeon has a Silver Cinema for 55+ twice a week at set times.
For the grand sum of £3.00, you get to see a very recent film, with a cup of tea or coffee and a bikkie thrown in !!!!!
I saw "The Martian" a couple of weeks ago, and I loved it. The great thing is that there are no little horrors kicking the seat behind you, and better still, no-one chats on their mobile or even talks during the film.
The PERFECT cinema experience.
