Ah, it brings a tear to the eye, look at the old place. It’s just as it was on the day we moved out, it’s a bit dusty....cough cough though.

The Admiral was worried that the sails were badly damaged apparently caused by my singing when sailors were seen leaping from the rigging. Anyway he managed to put up a new sail using Doodles big pants, last seen disappearing over the horizon.
Will send you a postcard.

Doodle was the bird belle of the ball in her parrot outfit. She was getting lascivious winks from all the men and disturbingly from the llama!
The captain had to have a lie down in a darkened room after unzipping the parrot costume. The excitement was too much.
Took me ages to get unentwined from Thor. I tried really hard honestly.
Lemon I was wondering whose turn it is to clean the men's toilets? Puzzler wouldn't venture in without a gas mask, full PPE and a tetanus shot.

AGAA4 Sat 08-Aug-20 15:04:06

Peardrop I couldn't hear your singing because of the squawking from the parrot.
Those sailors must have loved it if they were throwing themselves at your feet from the rigging.

Doodle Sat 08-Aug-20 17:29:19

Is it safe for me to come in now? What a night. Firstly I nearly suffocated in my parrot costume then that bl**dy llama took a shine to me. It kept tying to bite my bum. It chased me all the way through town I only lost it when I hid behind the bushes in the garden centre.
I am never ever dressing up again....well not till next Friday anyway. I’ll have a black coffee too please George....no I won’t sit down thank you blush

Puzzler61 Sat 08-Aug-20 17:34:05

Ohh that’s where you went! You sure it didn’t take a chomp of your bum Doodle?
If you can’t remember you might want to get along to A&E for a tetanus jab just to be safe. You don’t know what else that llama might have been chomping before your bum.

AGAA4 Sat 08-Aug-20 17:38:56

The llama is quite tame when he is sober. Problem is he isn't sober for very long. Thor has put him in the cellar with all the alcohol. Not a good idea. You may have to wear padding Doodle as he has decided you are his. George hasn't got a chance.

Doodle Sat 08-Aug-20 17:45:26

I am wearing my super thick Beyoncé buttock pads, reinforced with concrete. Let him try that’s all I will say. Is that him banging at the cellar door ?. Actually he was rather cute ?

lemongrove Sat 08-Aug-20 18:13:27

Llama curry tonight anyone??

Glad you are ok Doodle I was getting worried ( being your turn yet again to clean up!)
Who would like a turn for choosing a theme for next Friday,
First come first served ( as the Bishop said to the actress.)

Puzzler61 Sat 08-Aug-20 18:46:05

I would never touch a llama, I’m vegan. (And scared of them).
You’ve probably done it before,
but what about Flower Power Hippy 60’s night?
Peace and Love and all that.

Puzzler61 Sat 08-Aug-20 18:46:36

Karma and flowers in our hair ?

lemongrove Sat 08-Aug-20 19:13:04

Good choice!?
I like a kaftan, it covers things up that should never be uncovered.
If you’re goooooing to San Fransisco.....warble.

Peardrop50 Sat 08-Aug-20 19:13:22

Lovely idea Puzzler peace man, seems we're going to meet some gentle people there, that'll be a nice change in the Argy.
A leg of roasted llama for me please Lemon.

Puzzler61 Sat 08-Aug-20 19:18:42

First thing on Monday I’ll get the Yellow Pages and start making paper flowers. The more I can make, the better. I’ve cleared my calendar.

Puzzler61 Sat 08-Aug-20 19:21:52

I know a Harry Krishna, he lives in a sacred retreat but if it sign him out they’ll release him for next weekend. Just pretend you can’t see the tag round his left ankle.
He says he’ll bring his most suitable mates along. (I suspect he might mean cell mates!).

AGAA4 Sun 09-Aug-20 15:03:31

Thor took pity on the llama, sobered him up, then took him to the zoo. He is now in a field within sight of the parrot house so is one happy llama and Doodle is safe.

I am busy making spliffs for Hippy Night out of crushed oregano and cinnamon. Everyone got quite high on these last time I made them.

Puzzler61 Sun 09-Aug-20 15:07:53

? Good recipe then AGAA4 .
Keep churning them out, we can sell them for ooooohh ten bob each?

AGAA4 Sun 09-Aug-20 16:20:16

I have made 25 so far and feeling very chilled and so relaxed.
Isn't the world wonderful? Full of beautiful people.

Puzzler61 Sun 09-Aug-20 17:04:15

Smokey, a chap I know who went to Woodstock, says he can sort me out an Irish Bob Dylan sound-a-likey for Friday.
When I mentioned your oregano “recipe” he said he’d like 2 dozen as his part of the bargain and Bob O’Dylan charges a pony for 4 hours.
I said we’d pay 80 quid and no more and we don’t want the pony. There was enough s**t to shovel out of here this weekend with that frisky Llama.

Puzzler61 Sun 09-Aug-20 17:05:58

So shimmy yourself back to the shed please AGA and make
more spiffs.

AGAA4 Sun 09-Aug-20 17:24:20

Good work getting Bob O'Dylan Puzzler but the pony is not having any spliffs. You know how they get.

Need to get George to make me some coffee. This will be a long job. Think I may need to make a lot. Hope I've got enough oregano.

Doodle Sun 09-Aug-20 17:39:38

No pony’s please. I had enough trouble with that llama.
Ooh flower power night. I like the sound of that. I will wear one of my old floaty dresses with my big floppy straw hat covered in flowers and practice saying ‘cool man’.?

Puzzler61 Sun 09-Aug-20 17:47:13

If it’s as hot as last Friday , we all need to practice COOL Doodle. You especially as you were so hot in your costume you were spitting feathers.

I’ve always fancied I look similar to that girl from the Swinging Sixties, what’s her name? .....
Cathy Mc(dressin’)Gown.
I’ll go and rummage for my negligee, I can wear that ..... be gone a while .

lemongrove Sun 09-Aug-20 22:52:51

I like the sound of Bob O’Dylan, I think I know him, he’s from Cork? £80 sounds a bit high though ( and he will be high after all those spliffs)? Tell him he will get £25 plus the oregano spliffs, all the poteen he can drink, and a free bed for the night in the cellar with all the free love he can handle.
Can’t say fairer than that.

lemongrove Sun 09-Aug-20 22:58:57

I shall wear my flowery kaftan (I stole it after a date with Demis Roussos) he was wearing it at the time, and I will also wear my long dark wig with some flowers in it....I think there are some dandelions out the back.Love and peace man, love and peace, remember Woodstock, only connect, turn on, drop out etc etc.

AGAA4 Mon 10-Aug-20 14:19:31

Just wondering what type of flour to wear in my hair. Plain or self-raising?
The Admiral has ordered 100 spliffs. He usually gets them from a pleasant chap, Scarface Stan, down a leafy back alley in Crewe but he says Stan has been adding fag ends to the oregano so he will buy them from the Argy in future.

He has asked if I can add some bay leaf to the oregano but that is quite lethal and people have got a bit too high.
