Good morning everyone !
What an incredibly hot start to the day here on the Med' coast in France. Wish now I hadn't promised myself that I would wash floors and catch up on the ironing today. Stopping for a coffee very shortly, so that should lift the monotony....
Was not surprised to read that the UK is having hardly any rain. I know this means some struggling with plants in everyone's newly tended gardens, but having read so many posts over the weeks which tell of seats outside, blooming flowers, sunshine and birdsong, I think everyone would agree that this is so much more important at the moment than worrying about water. It can come to an end so quickly and revert to the great greyness, I feel that everyone should snatch at a chance to just be outside.
No understanding whatsoever about what is going on regarding lockdown. Maybe I need to get back to looking at the news only once a day - just to give some time for the squabbling, sniping, and sheer confusion which abounds at present to abate somewhat. As long as everyone on here continues to keep themselves safe, life will go on until we all get used to the new life, whenever that will be.
Well done, again BlueSapphire - I'm sure it looks more as if you couldn't care less (what a little devil!), rather than you've lost the plot. Rollers on a walk? And why ever not?!
Keep thinking positive thoughts!
I shall now sit in the courtyard with my coffee and sneeze for the UK, France and anyone else within earshot. I do know that a one-a-day anti-histamine will stop my hay fever if I get really desperate. I've not reached that stage yet.
Have a great day whatever you are doing and don't forget to smile. Big hugs from France. x
