May7 Although your sense of humour may have done a runner - I'm sure it will come back. It is good to hear that I'm not the only one to have a weird sense of humour. In fact it nearly got me into trouble when I worked as a secretary for a consultant at a hospital. My colleagues would hear me, hysterical with laughter and wouldn't have the foggiest idea why. I saw the funny side of things and also of bad situations. I remember saying to my boss, after a call received about a patient's death, 'another one bites the dust'! There were lots of other occasions; and even after having left my job - I've still got that sense of humour. Hubby sometimes finds me in tears with laughter over something that he can't quite fathom. But then he is Dutch so it is a bit more difficult. But having said that - we had a bet, when we first got together, who had the worst sense of humour. I think I've won! But it is nice to share that love of humour.
So... your sense of humour has done a runner, Gone with the Wind... or you've had a sense of humour failure and need to jump start it. I hope you can find it and reel it back in, even if it comes back screaming and shouting! Hugs.
