Good morning all from blue skies and breezy Manchester. Wash day while it is blowing. Had the 4 year old dgs in the car yesterday. He said, "let's sing Polly out the kettle on" we did, then he asked "Nan, why did Suki take it off again" ?. Don't you just love 'em? Not much planned today but something will turn up if only the dreaded housework. Marydoll hope you have a relaxing day. Oh, there's a job, name tapes! The 4yo is tiny too. Have the best day everyone. flowers for those with cares and worries.

Good Morning everyone from Severnside where it is sunny and a much better start than yesterday.

I hope your day went well Marydoll.

Keep the loo rolls in the house Mattie, you don’t want them getting damp ?

I want to carry on sorting the craft stash. There is a lot of foil confetti that needs sorting into different piles.

I think the gulls are coming further in land these days. I know I don’t live far from the river but I don’t remember seeing so many of them above the house years ago.

Have a good day all ?

Good morning all from a breezy and cloudy North Leicestershire.

Just the mountain of ironing to do today and our occasional gardener is coming for the morning.

We had a lovely day with DD3 and her children yesterday. We didnt know whether we were allowed to hug so we did just to be on the safe side!! And arranged for a sleepover.

Thinking of everyone with worries and troubles today.

Good morning all from a dull and breezy Glasgow.

Not much planned today, as I'm feeling a bit wiped out after my treatment yesterday. If the side effects are still severe after yesterday's dose, the docs are considering stopping it altogether. ☹️Due to cost, this treatment is only approved when all else fails, so I have nothing left to fall back on.
I do have a prescription to calm the mouth ulcers down, so I should feel better once the medication starts working. Fingers and toes crossed.

Blade Annie, I hope all went well yesterday with your procedure.

My husband is off to play golf ( yipee) so it's Spotify list playing and doing my own thing.
I have to finish sewing on the name tags on DGD's school uniform, I hadn't realised the Scottish schools are back in two weeks. ? I need to get a move on.
I have to admit to having a year in my eye, when I held up the tiny aged 3 to 4 school shirt. DGD is so small, compared to her friends.

As always, thinking of all our missing posters and sending virtual hugs. I noticed that Brunette, hasn't been posting recently, I hope you are ok.

Welcome all to the newbies on this thread. Good to see more males posting.

Have the best day you can and stay safe, everyone.

Oh Spangler no! Not your lovely shiny car ! ??
Potholes are so dangerous and especially if the road is wet they just look like dark shadows.
Hope you are ok?

Morning everyone from a bright south Cornwall. Oh grandMattie what a way to start the day! We have seagull-proof rubbish bags here, provided by the council. Don't know if they're fox-proof though! wink To my allotment today, to sort my greenhouse and pick peas and chard and rocket and cook lunch in my shed. Hoping the day goes well for those under any clouds.

Good morning Mick and early morning gang.
Cool breeze this morning, I’ve shut the bedroom window, not opened it!
Mick I’m glad you’ve got some sport to look forward too, I went to Silverstone one year and we queued for hours in the small lanes to get in. Stayed at a lovely B&B overnight so we’d be there early and get our seats.
Grandmattie the gulls are getting bigger by the year I swear, do they not know the dangers of obesity? And their squawking
is so unnecessarily loud.
BladeAnnie I hope you had a good night after your tear ducts treatment yesterday
Marydoll I’ve p.m.’d - thinking about you a lot. Hope you are okay and home now.

I have emails to do today, and a bit of housework like Mick,
then just see what the day brings.

Take care all ?

Good morning from The New Forest. I saw a quip on the internet a while back, I wish that I had kept it. It read, "In the UK they drive on the left side of the road. Here in Montana, we drive on what's left of the road. There was a photo of a pot hole strewn road.
Yesterday evening our car hit one pot hole too many, this morning it will be having new front springs fitted. What an expensive bane pot holes are.

Good morning all. Bright today in E Kent.
Was woken up at dawn by gulls making a horrible noise.. When I got up an hour ago, I realised that foxes had got to our food bin and spread the contents over the road. The gulls were trying to eat the rest -potato peelings, pineapple and onion skins etc. Horrible mess which I picked up (in my pyjamas - it was0530) using dustpan and brush.
Yesterday, we thawed out our upright freezer, tidied up the garage in readiness for getting loads of tinned and preserved food. DH is convinced not only that there will be a winter resurgence of CV19 but also the panic buying and stocking up will be far worse in the winter. I’m an obedient wife...
Marydoll, I hope the treatment was less ferocious.*gilly*, trust the customers put in their order.
Hope today is kind to everyone, especially those with body, mind or soul difficulties. Stay safe.

Good Morning Everyone,
Its clear blue sky over Brackley this morning .
My usual day of housework ,and then get the bus into Buckingham for a short while .
Once the bus services show signs of improving which looks like next week , but we will see.
I am also looking ahead to watching cycling on TV which is live as well ,some racing has started and have followed the results .
Mind you locally , we have the first of 2 rounds of F1 at Silverstone this weekend , it will probably be one of quietest events with no crowds or helicopters overhead in abundance .
Take Care ,
Mick
