So, a good morning from a glittering Shire, where shafts of sunlight are highlighting the autumnal leaf colours. Totally calming and magical.
An update on the marathon. My balance is not too good at times so I have had to break down my runs into 5K sessions which is manageable. Any further and I begin to look like a gin sozzled older person in lycra . As long as I do the mileage in a time frame I qualify, so I shall just keep niggling away at it. CH is being extremely supportive, fielding enquiries (albeit in two pair of glasses plus a headgear magnifier that makes him look like an extra terrestrial) and sternly telling me to stop when the wobbles start! Incidentally, still no date for his eye operation.
We have realised there is no way of knowing anonymous supporters of the cause, as Just Giving do not let us know the identity of folks - so we have to shout out a huge and collective thank you to everyone. ( I was looking for a megaphone emoji but can't seem to remember how to do it atm.
I hope the sun continues to shine and its rays broaden out to all in the kitchen. TOYA
