Good Morning everyone. Well it seems only Beauregard and dragonfly are soaking up sunbeams this morning. Derbyshire and Leicestershire win out. So unless you are visiting ?? Spain or Malta ?? today.....no warmth. You are all welcome chez moi, but not today folks.......it’s really cold and has just started raining! We’re shocked - only 14 degrees in a wicked gale yesterday and despite sunshine then, this must be the coldest weather we’ve ever had in the South of France in September! Hopefully it will pull itself together and revert to normal very soon.
Glad you had a good Birthday, NanKate. Good to count our blessings sometimes and there are indeed some smashing people on here.
I feared for you, Mary. Just for a moment pictured your garden becoming an archeological dig! ? Oh dear! Fortunately only a(nother) Mad Moment @ the Marydolls... .
Sorry about Mr C’s hand, corner. Hope it’s diagnosed and the problem soon resolves. Scentia and Gelisa wishing you lots of fun - and no rain - and safe journeys.
People are very strange, feelingmyage and definitely disappointing sometimes. When I have to explain to someone who ought to know better why we just can’t do as we like any more, I often think back to being in a train or a confined space with smokers. I would often ask, politely, if anyone minded my opening a window. Why? Why worry when someone else is polluting the air the rest of us are breathing, with smoke ?? But often, they’d object! That’s so rude as to be almost funny. Now, we’re having to explain - to some - why we’d rather avoid risking illness.....and they’re offended. (And breaking the rules!) Incredible. Have the happiest time with your Son.
Emptying and re-arranging the study, sorting out boxes of photos to be transferred onto hard drives and dusting hundreds of books today. (Be still my beating heart !! ?)
Speaking of dusting....have you finally stopped sneezing, Greyduster ? Or does that go on into the colder weather?
Sending you smiles, ??, and good wishes to those unwell or struggling with life’s challenges. Just KEEP SAFE, please.
Hugs from la Belle France ??
