Was just wondering... When you decide you want to treat yourself... What do you do or buy for yourself

Chocolate or something craft related.

Really nice skin care stuff.

harrigran Fri 16-Oct-20 10:16:48

Books, L'Occitane soap and Clarins hand cream.

Lupin Fri 16-Oct-20 10:18:13

At this season it's Stollen bites from Lidl or M&S.

Open a bottle of wine and watch a movie from my collection of recordings.

Anything crafty. Just got a huge parcel from China of 5d crystal painting kits will last me for months. Anything for the craft room makes me very happy

Buy very little stuff. A real treat for me is a massage by someone with real talent, or a special evening of relaxation by the fire, with a friend and Tibetan bowls and other instruments.

Books or new boots. Can’t resist either . Food was/is never a treat.... and is only fuel for the body. I eat less and less these days. Nope... gotta be books or boots!

Foxglove77 Fri 16-Oct-20 10:23:23

Chocolate biscuits or chocolate liqueurs yum smile

I pay for a good film to rent on Amazon Prime for Friday evening viewing. Often there are some very recent films on offer for £2.50.

narrowboatnan Fri 16-Oct-20 10:32:33

Chocolate. I don’t treat myself very often though. Once upon a time, in pre Covid times, I used to indulge in a latte and a home made cake in a nice, quiet coffee shop. Can’t quite seem to be able to pluck up the courage to do that any more these days.

Grannynannywanny Fri 16-Oct-20 10:42:13

A single fruit scone from local M&S foodhall. Sold as singles and that’s perfect for me. If I bought a pack of 4 I would feel obliged to do the decent thing and eat them all and avoid food wastage.

Fabric and patterns - not a treat a necessity - honest. I know I have a stash, but .....

Trisha57 Fri 16-Oct-20 10:54:58

Anything garden related. New greenhouse gadget, plants, seeds, pots........

Quilting fabric or knitting wool.

Scrappydo Fri 16-Oct-20 11:46:05

Just discovered wax melts. Least everyone in the house benefits from my new obsession.?

JaneRn Fri 16-Oct-20 11:53:20

Chocolates, a box of cream cakes from M&S and a bottle of good wine as opposed to my usual plonk, not all to be consumed at the same time, of course!

Katyj Fri 16-Oct-20 11:57:18

A new diffuser cheers me up no end and a bag of chocolate gingers from Thornton’s ?

Eric123 Fri 16-Oct-20 11:58:52

Make sure every one is cared for .Then sit in my little garden , weather permitting. Then have a bath with lavender and geranium oils

aggie Fri 16-Oct-20 12:11:15

As I am severely limiting my carbs, I have one treat per week - a triple-choc-chip from Waitrose. If I bought a whole packet, I might be tempted to eat the lot, but these are sold separately.

annodomini Fri 16-Oct-20 12:24:53

Triple-choc-chop cookie, that is.
