Two bridges, Dartmoor National Park, January this year.
It’s a few years since we visited Two Bridges Ellianne, good memories over a number of years we were last there with the family about 8 years ago, goodness, how did that time pass? Your photo reminded me we had been to Bourton on the Water a few weeks ago.
Following on the picture of the Forth bridge, here it is viewed from the café at the Sea Life Centre.
Oh, I nearly forgot the Bridge over the Atlantic, that takes you over to the island of Seil in W. Scotland.
This is a photo of the "Alston arches" near to where I live. It used to carry a branch line, now it is a footpath. The view from up there is lovely. I must take a photo next time I go for a walk.
Love the “Bridge over the Atlantic” hellogirl and the unusual view of the Forth Bridge too. Big or small, they all have their own beauty. Here’s a little one from a park near us, taken earlier this week.
This old packhorse bridge is over the upper Derwent before it flows down into Howden reservoir. A very pretty place for a picnic.
Found the Severn bridges. We booked a trip on the Balmoral, sister ship to the Waverley, back in 2016. Not a sunny day but very enjoyable, we also passed under the Clifton SuspensionBridge, quite a spectacular sight. Looking back made me realise how much we did that year, it was packed, so many good experiences. Aren't photos great as reminders?
Oh the memories that picture of Bourton on the Water brought back. Many times we took our granddaughter there. She would paddle in the River Windrush and we would have lunch outside a pretty pub by the river. Happy days.
