Who’s got my lemon squeezer?

Right own up who’s got it? ?

So this glass lemon squeezer was my Mums and she’s been gone over 30yrs and it brings back so many memories of her in the kitchen. I don’t use it often but always for the lemon and oranges I squeeze when making my Christmas cake, so when I went to get it out it’s not in its usual place in the cupboard alongside Mums sugar shaker. I made do without it as I wanted to get the cake in the oven.
This morning I’ve been through every cupboard and it’s gone, I mean where else would it be?

So I deduce one of you lots been in here, borrowed it and not put it back ?

The first place I look for lost items is the freezer. Just found a packet of tights in there. Haven't found the fishcakes though.

...a little prayer to St Anthony always works for me! He's never let me down...

SuzannahM - try looking in your tights drawer - you'll probably find the fishcakes!

I think it's with my missing tin of paint and my son's art folder.
Merry Christmas

I want to know who left the fridge door open..........

I bought chocs for the tree weeks ago. I have searched every draw and cupboard, they are nowhere to be found. Probably with the missing lemon squeezer.

DH just found mine after id spent ages looking for it when I read your post. I was convinced I’d lost it. It was in a jug I use for pouring pancake mix into the pan on Shrove Tuesday. Good luck with the search.

I can't find the antlers for my car! I have had them for a few years now, and was convinced I knew exactly where to find them - but no! I expect they will turn up when it is too late - after Christmas, and then I will put them somewhere safe for next year and not be able to find them again! And DH has been wrapping presents upstairs and BOTH my pairs of kitchen scissors have gone missing!

I can't find my daughter's first Christmas bauble. I have my son's which is 3 years older.

Refills for my treat, nice smell, doesn’t make my hands sore, liquid soap are somewhere, they have to be. If I close my eyes I can see where I put them, so how come they have been replaced by the bathroom cleaning stuff? No, they aren’t where the cleaning stuff should be, that bit of the cupboard is empty.

I will turn up eventually. However by the time that you need it again, you will have forgotten where you saw it.
Oh the perils of getting older.

Since my husband has retired, I can’t find anything in the kitchen. I’ve labelled cupboards, explained ‘the system’ many times and he just won’t cooperate! If I complain, he threatens to withdraw labour so I keep quiet. grin I’d hide his precious tv remote to get my own back but he misplaced it so often, I don’t have to.

I think the borrowers must have been responsible for borrowing a ladle that I always kept in a utensil container next to the hob. I emptied that container, no ladle. I checked through drawers, no ladle. DH did the same, no ladle. So next time I was in town I bought a new one, washed it and then put it in the utensil holder, next to the "lost"one, which was sitting quite happily in its usual spot! ??

Just come home from hospital after some weeks (house deep clean done in my absence and apparently the cleaning company disposed of my kitchen waste bin and food caddy)!; I wouldn't mind, but the waste bin was only a couple of months old and Amazon is out of stock of anything the same size. Bought a replacement, only to find that it's too big for the only available space. angry sadGrrrr!!!

Twomonths ago I bought a digital meat thermometer. Used it once for chicken. Reading this thread, I realised I did not know where it was. Spent next hour hunting in my quite small and neat kitchen.
Finally found it hiding under the shelving system I have for my small worktop oven. At least it made me give my cutlery drawer a really good clean out - always amazes me how much dirt seems to accumulate in that.

I've lost a pink glass lamp so if anyone has borrowed it to help look for their lost items can I have it back please?
