"You know you're turning into your mother when" -

I wish I knew what foibles my mum would have had at my age (almost 57), unfortunately she died aged 47. ?

If shoes get left around the hall I hear myself say “ it’s like Freeman,Hardy,and Willis in here!”

Heaven forbid I am anything like my mother. I used to say to my dear old Dad "if I ever get like her shoot me please" his reply was "don't you worry I bloody will"!!

If it was messy, my mum would say "It's like Wookie Hole in here!"

Before we were going on an outing our mum always used to say. go and have a wee, us, don't want one, mum, well go and try!

My mum whispered loudly to me to ask if I wanted "a weewee" in a crowded doctors waiting room.
Everybody heard and sniggered.

After buying my 45 yr son a pair of expensive gloves for his bike riding I asked if he wanted me to put them on elastic so he didn't lose them! ? Something my Mum insisted on.
