Gregg Wallace Fun Weekend.

Gordon Ramsey on for four nights this week, I really despair, this is what my TV license goes towards?

DH and I are watching Greg Wallace in Rome and shouting at the screen! ? Purporting to be a historian and saying he knows it well. No he doesn't!!!

He was standing right beside our hotel, how dare he rub it in, that I can't go there! ?

Heavens above! even putting Gregg Wallace in the same sentence as Rick Stein is a step too far for me. Great fan of the latter and the former.........well best to say, just not my cup tea, and do my best to avoid any programme he's in.

Detest Gordon Ramsay, horrible bully of a man.

I think Ramsay created/came up with the idea for the show.

Yes why is Ramsay taking on this role which he is so patently unsuited to. I think its on more than once a week as well. Maybe he needs the money

Hard to decide which is worse a 'fun' weekend with the barrow boy or a game show with a potty mouthed ex chef.

Nothing on Earth would get me to watch anything with Gordon Ramsey in it.

Can’t stand Greg Wallace, but I really wanted to see Rome.
He wasn’t too bad. I too avoided seeing him on Jeremy Vine, couldn’t bear to see him exercising.
I don’t like John Torode or Jeremy Vine. Both think highly of themselves IMO.

The awful Gordon Ramsey about to host yet another game show. In the trailers, he sounds so wooden. Obviously the cheffing is losing its appeal.

I do know that they filmed the cat sanctuary, which is outside our hotel, which we have been going to for over twenty years. I felt my eyes filling up, so many happy memories and missing friends. ?

Marydoll It shows Rome in all its beautiful glory. If you don't like Gregg, try to ignore him.
It made me sad as Rome was 'on our list' but we may never go now.

How did someone selling fruit & veg get so lucky? Plus the fact that most people detest him.

I’m afraid Gregg Wallace is enough to put me off watching it. I find his manner and over exaggerated facial expressions such a turn off.
