The misuse of "was" and "were". For example "What was you doing?" or "I were going to the shops". I really makes me cringe

It was explained to me that this was like a Yorkshire glottal stop as in 'I wa' going to the shops'

Blossoming. I was curious about tetchy and find it was used by Shakespeare (Romeo and Juliet) comes possibly from old Scots and/or old French meaning a blotch or fault, tache or teche.

Now we know it has a perfectly good provenance, may we use it please?

The phrase 'way more/less' is horrible.

The advert "Perf with Surf " ! Can't stand it, puts my teeth on edge.

So many of these I agree with. In particular ‘tits’. But I refer to my husband as ‘hubby’. Can’t think of an acceptable alternative. I don’t like ‘husband’.
