Sorry no airs and Grace's.

Paul. I used to wander the countryside waiting to bump into him so that he could take me away from all this. Exactly what that meant I didn't know. Afraid he's missed his chance though, too old for me now ?

George for me too

My husband would agree with you there!
But I always felt Yoko was underrated, and everyone loved to hate her, because she was supposed to have split them up.

It was always Paul for me, until he turned into a knob.

Oh! Why is Paul a knob then?

He’s my favourite and has been since I was 4 (in 1964)!

I’ve been wasting time recently on YouTube watching videos about the Beatles (lockdown boredom!) and it’s really fired up my love for all the Fab Four again. I also found out about “McLennon” which I’d never ever heard of before - blimey! ?

Didn't really have a favourite, but I liked John's intelligence and George's quiet dignity. I thought Paul was a p***t, and I still do.

I could never decide whether I was going to marry Paul McCartney or Davy Jones of the Monkiees. In the end I decided to marry my husband instead
??

Paul of course!

Sara1954 Fri 09-Apr-21 14:43:48

Some horrible things being said about Paul!
What is wrong with you ladies?

Froglady Fri 09-Apr-21 14:44:35

Paul for me.

SueB14 Fri 09-Apr-21 14:46:48

John

BlueSapphire Fri 09-Apr-21 15:25:11

Always Paul.

Theone Fri 09-Apr-21 15:36:41

George was always the one for me.

Chestnut Fri 09-Apr-21 15:47:15

I think Gransnet should put this up as a voting app so we can see who the winner is by the number of votes! After all, we are the Beatles generation so we are the ones entitled to vote. ?

Actually, a voting app would be good for all sorts of things. Come on Gransnet!

Retired65 Fri 09-Apr-21 16:15:20

George for me.

leeds22 Fri 09-Apr-21 16:49:11

Paul. But Scott Walker was my absolute fave.

Kandinsky Fri 09-Apr-21 16:55:47

I think George has won, closely followed by Paul.
I’m not sure Ringo got any votes? not that he’d care I know, married to Barbara Bach. grin

Bluecat Fri 09-Apr-21 17:12:11

When they first became famous, I was 10 and I adored Paul. As I got older, John became my favourite. I'm quite surprised by George's popularity, as I don't think I knew anyone who liked him best, back in the day.

But I think, from all that I've read, that Ringo was probably the nicest Beatle.

Oldbat1 Fri 09-Apr-21 17:21:18

Started off in 60s being Paul but over the years I really liked George.

Finnrock Fri 09-Apr-21 17:37:46

George Harrison

Casdon Fri 09-Apr-21 17:39:59

Chestnut I’ve taken on the Gransnet role - I had 5 spare minutes as Pointless is not on today, so I’ve done a tot up of the clear stated preference votes, and this is the result:

George 37
Paul. 26
John 12
Ringo. 4

So, George wins by a length!

Luckylegs Fri 09-Apr-21 18:26:46

George right from day one. Not keen on the others at all.

grannylyn65 Fri 09-Apr-21 19:34:14

Yes George

Kate1949 Fri 09-Apr-21 19:49:45

And the winner is...

Elvis58 Fri 09-Apr-21 19:50:20

George definitely he was talented and struck me as a kind, caring man.plus his lovely eyes.
