As many here will, hopefully, live to experience the reign of Charles and possibly even William, how do you see the Monarchy and the Royal Family changing, adapting, innovating?
Do you envisage much change?

Do we need a symbol for Berwick on Tweed? Still belongs to Russia, I believe, depending who you ask.

Daisend1

I would like to have seen Princess Anne on the throne .

Yes. She would be the best of a bad bunch.

If only there was some way of deciding who we want to be HoS, instead of it just going to the next person in line.

Oh, hang on..grin

Who would you choose Alegrias1 ?

Well now Annie, maybe you know what I'm going to say. Or you think you do wink.

If she stood, I'd choose Jocelyn Bell Burnell. Said that before, so sorry for repeating myself.

Assuming she didn't want it, maybe Prof Anne Glover. Sir Tom Hunter. Sir Ian Wood. Wow, they are all Scots! We can run the world if we try. wink

Or maybe even Charles, if he promised to stop funding his extended family with public money and just turned up to smile, wave, and sign the documents when we needed him to.

Sorry Alegrias1 I thought you meant someone from the royal
family after the post which said the poster would choose Anne.

I did offer up Charles Annie, but only under certain circumstances smile

Grannypiper a documentary seems to disagree with that, if Paul Burrell is to be believed PC also has his shoe laces ironed, I imagine that Burrell was there when Diana was alive and saw it for himself.
