Good Evening Thursday;
A very ordinary day today after recent excitement! No news of car so things appear to be OK so far! For some reason Ian has always preferred manual whereas I’ve always been automatic, so will be interesting to see how he goes; forwards I hope! At least he won’t be able to crash the gears!

Jaxjacky. I haven’t watched how Leeds did it, but I’m told Kevin was on the bench throughout!. Any way, glad they won their latest match.
Haven’t thought about my next “wheels, but thanks for advice.
Expect it will be black with side windows and little curtains, but I’m thinking of a glass coffin; remains to be seen!
!Only joking

Callistemon (Every time I see that name I think of “Jalima”) Son Neil in Brisbane told me this evening that although most restrictions were lifted today there is understandably a certain degree of caution being exercised.
1.His family have not had their first jab yet and in no hurry.

Looks like it’s going to be chicken casserole tonight so I’ll take a break and up the thermostat1 21C ain’t what it used to be!

I expect you’re all into BBQs nowadays. Do you have to wear masks anywhere?

Pictures on TV news showed you all standing around in the sun, glass of beer to hand.

Michael P. was off on a different quest today, visiting ancient obsolete buildings, this time, Shepton Mallet prison showing disturbing images of what it was like.when active! plus the unusual idea of using os storage site for State valuables during WW2
Remember the Kray brothers!?

Computer screen beginning to jump around, ,so;

All sounds fine with you anyway Rufus2.
Not so good here. Well, I've now got an appointment with a surgeon re my hip but it's really, really painful. Bit of a wait.
We're not all sitting about in beer gardens. Up here we're going to be allowed to travel within Scotland from Friday. Not sure what we'd do though as no restaurants or pubs allowed to open, and can't go into people's houses. Fun, fun, fun in 'hauden doon' Scotland (not!)

Hi Rufus, too cold for beer gardens, for us anyway, bit warmer next week, 15 instead of 11, we’re not lunchtime drinkers. Masks in all shops, all public buildings, if leaving pub/restaurant table for the loo, to leave etc, ok if seated.
Hoping tomorrow night will be the last frost, late this year.
Take care ?

Not been on this thread before, but the Good Morning lot start so early! grin

Hope you can get some relief for your hip Aveline,that sounds nasty.

Still really cold here. (Hertfordshire) Waiting for news from DS as the next grandchild is due on Sunday, and baby keeps turning breech.

DH is cooking tonight, so an evening off!
