School Run

I'm trying to decide whether to offer to take my GS to school for my daughter who has recently gone through a horrible marriage break up. He goes to breakfast club but my daughter hates sending him there. He's 7 my daughter works fulltime in a very demanding electricians job. I have been unhappy since retiring and feel this would give me a purpose. Just a thought setting alarms again.

I love seeing our GC before and after school each day, precious time which will all too quickly disappear as they get older.

Could you compromise, take him three days a week say?

That would be a help to your daughter and grandchild, give you an extra couple of days for a lie in, and not too much of a tie.

Offer on a trial basis see how it works, it all depends on the distance, time and how your health is. Lots of grans do this.
