Well the barber’s are open so he must be choosing this look. Ageing rocker?

Do you like it or not? Nothing political (preferably)!

NanaPlenty Fri 30-Apr-21 19:07:39

Ridiculous - sorry I can’t think of anything else to say!

Urmstongran Fri 30-Apr-21 18:54:51

The most attractive man I have ever met, with the most sex appeal, was one who had absolutely no idea how his world class looks affected women

I didn’t realise you’d met my husband Rosina.

???

Rosina

That should have been a smile emoji - they never work for me!

Keep practising Rosina you’ll get there eventually! ??

Theoddbird

So who will dare to put themselves up for a discussion on how they look? This topic was an absolute waste of space....

Goodness.
150. Posts in - so not everyone agrees there Theoddbird.
You seem a bit curmudgeonly if you don’t mind me saying.

It’s a bit of nonsense, sure but I bet more than a few opened their newspapers on Wednesday and thought ‘oh he looks so different’. A bit of gossip is good for our mental health apparently. Just light hearted - a change from Covid, politics and worries.

I don't like it. My husband's is the same but he won't go to the barbers

Aepgirl Fri 30-Apr-21 18:16:27

I think he looks dreadful. His old, wrinkled face looks like I felt when he was Prime Minister.

CBBL Fri 30-Apr-21 15:34:38

No, not a fan of the hair. It looks good on some men - but I don't think it works for him.
I've definitely seen worse, though!

Rosina Fri 30-Apr-21 15:29:30

Theoddbird we are all volunteers - you don't have to read it, or join in! {smile}

Not keen as it does seem ageing, but then I do think TB is rather full of himself - and I wonder if this look is part of a contrived effort. He evidently said at one point something to the effect that no other Prime Minister had a physique like his. The most attractive man I have ever met, with the most sex appeal, was one who had absolutely no idea how his world class looks affected women. It wasn't DH - but he's not too bad himself, and definitely a very modest man!

Not a good look Tony.

Sparky56 Fri 30-Apr-21 14:47:05

I must admit it shocked me when I first saw it - makes him look so much older and definitely not an “elder statesman” look!

Nicegranny Fri 30-Apr-21 14:38:42

I reckon he’s having a bit of an age crisis.

HannahLoisLuke Fri 30-Apr-21 14:11:32

I don’t mind what he does with his hair but I do generally like longer hair on a man, whatever his age. As long as it’s well trimmed and not going thin.
As far as his face goes he aged tremendously during his time as PM as did David Cameron and now Boris. The job takes a terrible toll on anybody who takes it on.

Clevedon Fri 30-Apr-21 13:52:30

I think it looks better, actually suits him

polly123 Fri 30-Apr-21 13:50:48

Not a good look!

Merryweather Fri 30-Apr-21 13:45:09

More ageing nobber than ageing rocker.

tattygran14 Fri 30-Apr-21 13:40:49

I thought Philip Green had been on a diet.

Nana4 Fri 30-Apr-21 13:39:13

Sadly not everyone age well ?

trisher Fri 30-Apr-21 13:27:05

First thought however was Dorian Gray ..... OMG the portrait in the attic? I dread to think.....

Whatdayisit Fri 30-Apr-21 13:24:28

Things can only get better yes Urmstongran. I believe him again!

handbaghoarder Fri 30-Apr-21 13:15:29

Freddie Boswell ??. Had forgotten about him. I’m sure Tony could be available if they wanted to do a remake.
David Icke sprang to my mind too, though not sure the shell suit would be his look.
First thought however was Dorian Gray .....

Urmstongran Fri 30-Apr-21 12:55:49

Whatdayisit

He used to list his favourite song as Alright Now!
He must think it is but i think the Gransnetters are saying it isn't!

‘Things Can Only Get Better’ was his New Labour song!

Urmstongran Fri 30-Apr-21 12:54:46

Oh I don’t know ... psychologists are just saying this week how good gossip is for our mental health!

What did Dorothy Parker say years ago?
“If you haven’t got anything nice to say, come sit by me”.
