Well the barber’s are open so he must be choosing this look. Ageing rocker?

Do you like it or not? Nothing political (preferably)!

So many perfect looking women here , I trust they don’t dye their hair

SueDonim Fri 30-Apr-21 11:28:42

My mum, in her 90’s, asked me if I’d seen Tony Blair’s new look. I said I had and she replied with ‘Doesn't he look old for a man in his mid-70’s?’ She nearly fell off her chair when I said he was only 68. grin

I don't dislike his new look, I just can't stand him. Even when he was young and his politics were seemingly a better option, I couldn't stand him.

orly Fri 30-Apr-21 11:16:12

He looks like he's joined David Icke

NotSpaghetti Fri 30-Apr-21 11:14:18

I think it’s ok.
Don’t think much of him though.

Yet another pointless thread. Nobodies business but his and his family and friends how his hair is.
Shame that the author of the post didn't let us see how wonderful their hair looks!

trisher Fri 30-Apr-21 11:08:57

It's the look that's wrong. If he was in a t-shirt with maybe a few beads, and a bit hippy/rock idol/surfer looking, the hair would be fine. But with that suit and crisp white shirt? No! No!

pamdixon Fri 30-Apr-21 11:04:11

he definitely needs a haircut in my opinion for what its worth!

Petalpop Fri 30-Apr-21 10:58:51

Dillonsgranma - I am with you on that one.

Theoddbird Fri 30-Apr-21 10:55:18

Cant see anything wrong with it. Everyone is entitled to have their hair how they want. It is not for others to comment on it in a derogatory way if they don't like it.

GrammaH Fri 30-Apr-21 10:52:32

I thought immediately of Jimmy Paige...

Dillonsgranma Fri 30-Apr-21 10:50:14

Ghastly man with or without hair ?

Urmstongran Fri 30-Apr-21 10:48:14

Probably not Cherie though... ?

Paperbackwriter Fri 30-Apr-21 10:45:45

Nonogran

Looks like an "out of work poet."
Dreadful.

I assumed all poets were out of work, by definition!

But seriously, do we have to pick people apart for how they choose to look? T. Blair is presumably comfortable with how he has his hair so isn't that OK?

(And he bears no resemblance to the divine Keith Richards!)

keeno Fri 30-Apr-21 10:44:48

No, I think he looks old and scruffy.
Perhaps when he's seen this photo he'll be surprised at how he really looks - as opposed to how he thinks he looks.
I always thought he was rather vain.

BlueBelle Fri 30-Apr-21 10:43:19

Puts me in mind of Keith Richards was that meant to be a complement ????
Keith Richards looks as if he’s risen from the dead, mind you he has fell out of a few trees hasn’t hev

Lillie Fri 30-Apr-21 10:42:05

I don't like his hair and would rather he put a tie on.

Supernan Fri 30-Apr-21 10:40:00

I wonder if he has read this thread. I bet it would make him giggle.

Ladyleftfieldlover Fri 30-Apr-21 10:33:48

So long as it’s clean, it’s fine.

Auntieflo Thu 29-Apr-21 13:45:16

Iggy Pop came to mind when I saw Tony Blair the other day.

Anniebach Thu 29-Apr-21 13:37:09

sodapop you are mistaken, there is no criticism of the royal family, well not of the American couple, it’s hatred and spitting
Bile.

Tom Jones was married age 17, his wife was pregnant, whatever
relationship they had she didn’t divorce him.

GrannyGravy13 Thu 29-Apr-21 13:35:49

Saw Tom Jones live about six years ago, we were 10 metres away from him, fantastic voice and still very agile.

I saw him briefly on The Voice a few weeks ago and he appears to have embraced his grey.

As for Tony Blair, anything I have to say about the man that sent our son to fight in an illegal war would have me banned from GN for the foreseeable future...

3nanny6 Thu 29-Apr-21 13:33:35

I had to look twice when Tony Blair was on T.V a few days ago.
He has changed a lot but looked so much older.

I visualized Mr. Blair as the actor in Till Death do us Part.
That was the comedy that his late father in law starred in Tony
Booth. I think Alf Garnett would have been calling him a long haired git which he used to call Tony Booth.
Do wonder if Cherie likes the new look.

sodapop Thu 29-Apr-21 12:37:05

There seems to be plenty of criticism of women on here Anniebach especially those in the Royal Family.

I find Jones lauding of his late wife to be hypocritical but clearly he still has fan base.

Anniebach Thu 29-Apr-21 11:32:27

Agree henetha . seems men can be criticised but not women,

Blair and Jones haven’t reached for the dye pot
