Well the barber’s are open so he must be choosing this look. Ageing rocker?

Do you like it or not? Nothing political (preferably)!

First thought however was Dorian Gray ..... OMG the portrait in the attic? I dread to think.....

Sadly not everyone age well ?

tattygran14 Fri 30-Apr-21 13:40:49

I thought Philip Green had been on a diet.

Merryweather Fri 30-Apr-21 13:45:09

More ageing nobber than ageing rocker.

polly123 Fri 30-Apr-21 13:50:48

Not a good look!

Clevedon Fri 30-Apr-21 13:52:30

I think it looks better, actually suits him

HannahLoisLuke Fri 30-Apr-21 14:11:32

I don’t mind what he does with his hair but I do generally like longer hair on a man, whatever his age. As long as it’s well trimmed and not going thin.
As far as his face goes he aged tremendously during his time as PM as did David Cameron and now Boris. The job takes a terrible toll on anybody who takes it on.

Nicegranny Fri 30-Apr-21 14:38:42

I reckon he’s having a bit of an age crisis.

Sparky56 Fri 30-Apr-21 14:47:05

I must admit it shocked me when I first saw it - makes him look so much older and definitely not an “elder statesman” look!

Gilly74 Fri 30-Apr-21 15:01:06

Not a good look Tony.

Theoddbird Fri 30-Apr-21 15:03:09

So who will dare to put themselves up for a discussion on how they look? This topic was an absolute waste of space....

Rosina Fri 30-Apr-21 15:27:52

Not keen as it does seem ageing, but then I do think TB is rather full of himself - and I wonder if this look is part of a contrived effort. He evidently said at one point something to the effect that no other Prime Minister had a physique like his. The most attractive man I have ever met, with the most sex appeal, was one who had absolutely no idea how his world class looks affected women. It wasn't DH - but he's not too bad himself, and definitely a very modest man!

Theoddbird we are all volunteers - you don't have to read it, or join in! {smile}

Rosina Fri 30-Apr-21 15:29:30

That should have been a smile emoji - they never work for me!

CBBL Fri 30-Apr-21 15:34:38

No, not a fan of the hair. It looks good on some men - but I don't think it works for him.
I've definitely seen worse, though!

Aepgirl Fri 30-Apr-21 18:16:27

I think he looks dreadful. His old, wrinkled face looks like I felt when he was Prime Minister.

readalot Fri 30-Apr-21 18:41:56

I don't like it. My husband's is the same but he won't go to the barbers

Urmstongran Fri 30-Apr-21 18:51:23

Goodness.
150. Posts in - so not everyone agrees there Theoddbird.
You seem a bit curmudgeonly if you don’t mind me saying.

It’s a bit of nonsense, sure but I bet more than a few opened their newspapers on Wednesday and thought ‘oh he looks so different’. A bit of gossip is good for our mental health apparently. Just light hearted - a change from Covid, politics and worries.

Urmstongran Fri 30-Apr-21 18:52:36

Keep practising Rosina you’ll get there eventually! ??

I didn’t realise you’d met my husband Rosina.

???

NanaPlenty Fri 30-Apr-21 19:07:39

Ridiculous - sorry I can’t think of anything else to say!

stewaris Fri 30-Apr-21 20:05:04

I must admit that I'm not and never have been a fan of Tony Blair. Ageing rocker came to mind. On the other hand DH looks like a very untidy Sonic the Hedgehog when he gets up in the morning - first haircut tomorrow, thank heavens - so maybe ageing rocker isn't too bad. I have to agree with some others on here that TB hasn't worn very well.

Bonny12 Fri 30-Apr-21 21:23:31

Not a great look for an ageing ex Prime Minister. Personal choice though! As we have all gone through some weird hair moments during the lockdowns.??

Bonny12 Fri 30-Apr-21 21:24:28

Second covid jab tomorrow morning! Hurray.

Callistemon Fri 30-Apr-21 21:31:51

This topic was an absolute waste of space....

Space is endless no matter how much we try to fill it with frivolity.

Although posting on here could contribute to the thread filling up more quickly!
