Not quite ixion Wellies have been in use these past few days with all the rain. They're caked up with mud and other squigy erm substances but my dancing pumps are at the ready.

ixion It was pretty dark under that kitchen sink last night. Watch out when you dive in for the cleaning tackle. My chocolate brazils looked like slugs in the gloom.

It was so busy last night I was stuck in the cellar keeping the poteen topped up. Thor was busy with Fronc so no use to me at all . I don't think they noticed the envious looks lemon was giving them (Thor was lemon's in the old days).

I had to put Lord L in the cellar after I found him trying to start up Gnasher with his car key. He will have a very sore behind, when he finally comes round, where Gnasher bit him.

There was a complaint from Guadeloupe (in French) about the din singing coming from the Argy so I think jet will have heard it. Note to self 'must send an apology'.

Need to see what our new booking clerk has for us. He has been taking calls all day so looks like a busy week ahead.

I think someone has asked for Ladies Night with the Chippendales or similar for entertainment.

Also the Argy regulars have asked for a comedian - not the Admiral. It would have to be a ticketed event if we fork out for one.

This is what happened, I got the car keys off him ( strange, they were a bit on the sticky side?)as he could hardly walk and in no state to drive back to Lemongrove Manor, so I shoved him in the back of the Roller.By the time I got in and started
up, he had slithered out of the door and vanished up Pigstrotter Alley.I ran after him but all I saw was a shoe as he had shinned up a wall and over the other side.He does do this kind of thing now and then, so I left him to it and went home.
It was a chilly night but luckily the second footman was warming up my bed for me, so I didn’t miss his nibs too much.
The thing is, it’s now Saturday evening and Lord L still hasn’t turned up, so can you help?
