Films you have loved! Recommendations would be welcome.

We sometimes watch films on streaming services but its really hard to know what we will enjoy and what we won't. I do not much enjoy murder and mayhem. We recently saw "Lion' which is not about a lion at all and is very good and very moving, and "Esio Trot" - which is delightful. Recommendations would be very welcome!

An old flame of mine made a brief appearance in Saving Grace: he was also locations manager on the film. I think it led to Doc Marten being produced.

Currently available on iPlayer - Moonstruck, The Witches of Eastwick, Film Stars don't die in Liverpool, Stan & Ollie, & Effie Gray. (I'm assuming that you've already seen When Harry met Sally, which I watched again the other day and hardly stopped smiling throughout).
