Good Morning all from East Staffordshire where the sun has got his hat on and the washing is on the line.
Off over to DD today as her DH is back at work. I will just be in the background letting her get into a routine after having DSiL wait on her hand and foot for two weeks it may be a shock?
We are going to try a new bistro for lunch in her village.
I will mow her lawns though as I have a serious problem with unloved gardens and as a young couple their garden comes way down the list of stuff on their minds!!
DGS excelled himself at swimming yesterday, he is now jumping in all by himself and finding his way back to the surface without choking! What a 2 year old star ⭐️
Marydoll I do hope you will feel brighter looking out to this sunshine and be back to yourself soon❤️
Take care my friends and enjoy the weather.

Morning Mick, morning All from a clear corner of Somerset. The forecast promises a sunny day ahead, wonderful.

Gardening for us, not that Mr C is delighted as he’s a reluctant participant. Some pots to plant, shrubs to prune and much needed clearing to do. It takes forever these days, regular stretches and rests needed but we get there and I love it.

We’ve two alternative washing machines on offer from our lovely neighbours, the stream won’t be needed just yet. smile. Family are too far away to be helpful. Mr C always says the dishwasher is his priority machine, nope, definitely washing machine for me. Guess who takes responsibility for what around here grin.

Hope Thursday is kind to us all, especially those with health and other worries. Take care everyone.

Good morning all from a bright and sunny north Surrey.
Gosh baubles that is a long journey for childcare.
Yesterday I felt sleep deprived but I have managed 8 hours last night so should be back on track.
Boys are here and youngest is off school. He was sick at school on Tuesday so has to have 48 hours off even though he is absolutely fine and no further sickness. I have promised them pancakes for breakfast and then DH will take the eldest to school.
We have a NT visit booked, Winkwoth Arboretum. As we will have to take DGS2 with us we are hoping they will be sensible and allow us in with him, it is all outdoors anyway.
Wishing all those feeling under the weather have a better day today and everyone manages to find a ?? or two.

Good morning Mick and everyone who follows. I’m a early bird this morning - she sun shone onto my pillow and after trying to go back to sleep I gave up and am just waiting for the kettle to boil. If I think i’m early what about the half dozen commuters over the road waiting for the first morning train into Manchester - up dressed and out at this time of a morning? I’m glad I don’t need to set an alarm clock any more!

We are off to visit my aunt (mum’s sister) and her husband both 80y olds who live up in Oldham, picking up my stepfather en route. We haven’t seen them for 15 months just phone calls and cards/gifts in the post. We have all five of us had second jabs and are allowed to sit indoors. My aunt has had agoraphobia this last seven years. Lockdown? As she said on the phone to me ‘welcome to my world’.

Hope Thursday is good to us all, especially grandmajet and thinking too of BladeAnnie who gets married today in Gretna. Oh, here’s the train into Manchester Oxford Road and the kettle has boiled. Stay cautious all. Hope you are feeling a bit better today Marydoll. x

Good morning from a brightish E Kent. No rain or east today, and the temperatures due to be in the height teens. At last!
DS1 is now in his isolation hotel with a fabulous view of a large car park and a runway. He’s there until Sunday next week.
Having my hair trimmed first thing, and got a zoom patchwork class this afternoon. Otherwise nothing going on.
My friend cancelled yesterday because it was her bath day and she’d forgotten. I rebooked for Friday afternoon. I hope she prefers my company to that of the entertainer!
I hope that today brings relief to those in pain , sorrow or anxiety, a smile ? and some metaphorical sunshine ☀️ into everyone’s life. A few random flamingos ? won’t go amiss. ???

Good morning Mick, morning all from South Lanarkshire where it’s looking a little grey outside.

We have to be out early for childminding today so will drop the little pooch off at doggy day care then get on the road. What should be a 90 minute journey can take so much longer at peak times.

I hope today is a peaceful one for everyone especially those struggling with sadness or illness. May you find a random ?.
