What wording would your daughter have found acceptable for you to use, in order to point out to her son that his behaviour was unacceptable?
Or did she mean you shouldn't have said anything?
How old is your grandson?

I’d have said it and not worth mentioning either.

Well I don’t think it’s wrong, I’m sure I’ve said worse, but that’s just me.

Edge26 it's a perfectly natural response to a child being naughty. I'd say to my daughter "I'm only human after all".

I wouldn't say that as it implies he is to blame for a sore head/illness. I might have said grandma has a sore head. Use your inside voice and then praise when he does.

Hello all.

Is it wrong to say to a GS who is playing up while looking after him, you're giving me a headache, please be good. I would like your views on this as my daughter says I should'nt have said it.
