Thought I’d better hold fire in case Mick made it, but I declare this thread officially open tcrsmile

Thank you to those of you sending good wishes. Muse I'm going to the Duchy Hospital. Lovely staff there too. But I know Hayle Hospital, a really nice friendly place. If the NHS weren't using the Duchy I've no idea how long I'd have waited.

Thinking of you tomorrow Alizarin.

MrNanKate says a great big thanks for all your kind wishes. ???

Nannagarra
Realised the other day that on my iPhone I can see the ? smile. I’ve always used my laptop for GN but was without it for two days last week.

Happy Flamday everyone.

Heard lovely things about Duchy.
I’m about to start asking for my other hip to be done.
The NHS consultant I saw at Treliske liked to use Hayle. It’s a long trek as we’re mid Cornwall. Had it done in August ? and the holiday traffic was terrible. 45 min journey turned into 2 hours the first time MrM visited . Told him we’d cope with phone calls.

When you have the answer Maw please tell Mya. Her day is not complete unless she dug at least one hole. Our walks in the wood are constant stop starts. She still has to dig in the garden!

Good Morning All x.
After a very cloudy and overcast start the sun has melted all the clouds and is belting down again with its welcome heat.
There were 4 of us in the garden yesterday and it was great though we all made a bee-line for the shaded part after a while.
Then about 4pm it clouded over and was suddenly quite cool so we parted company and went back indoors.

I even put a cardigan on grin, well I would wouldn't I ? I started to prepare my dinner at that point so the day soon went, ending later with programmes about Tina Turner which I thoroughly enjoyed and went to bed happy.

Hope you can get sorted with your computer Mick, what a nuisance. I get bogged down at times and am forever losing programmes and have to re-sign in.It's a pain.
Thanks to Maw for being second in command.

Congratulations all round for the new life Georgesgran safely into the world. flowers A tinge of sadness too. x

Glad to hear that yesterday went well for all aside from one or two blips that had occurred which can always be rectified, with nothing of a serious nature involved.

I hope everyone enjoys their day today and are able to get out and about. Stay safe and take care on your travels.xx

Good morning from a wet East Midlands where it has just started to pour with rain. Quite warm though. Hope you all have a safe and sane Sunday, not easy.

Good morning, everyone including, hopefully, Mick, who I hope is soon sorted.
I have been to the garden centre for compost and had to apply severe restraints in the plant buying department. I only bought 3, ones that fit in with my vague mental design. I found the advantage of having silver hair is that young men want to push your trolley and load your car for you. These days, I let them!
Speaking of cars, I have had Ashcombe moments too. Once, driving home from work, I stopped at the local supermarket, parking on street. When I came out, I walked home, several hundred yards. On arrival, I immediately saw no car on the drive and for a split second, thought it had been stolen until the truth dawned! I had to walk back and retrieve it. I was only in my forties at the time too.
Congratulations to you and your family, Georgesgran, a relief to you all I'm sure.
Best wishes to all in recovery and the best possible day to all.

Creeping in in just in time for a good morning everyone from hot and sunny Anglesey. Thank you Maw for deputising. Hope the tech is soon sorted Mick.
Good luck with the hip op Alizarin.
Lovely news for you Georgesgran, I’m sure you’ll see lots of little glances and quirks that remind you all of baby’s grandpa as time goes on.
Glad you’ve found flamingos Muse. Happy birthday to husbands, partners, children and grandchildren, lots of lovely Gemini folk. Orlin was 71 last week and I actually cooked (heated up) all meals on the day. A rare treat for him.
Oops good afternoon suddenly.
Have a lovely sunny Sunday all

It is - one always has great pleasure in declaring a lovely friendly thread like this “open” tcrsmile
