Thank you for the supportive messages - makes me feel less alone and is much appreciated. GP brisk, sensible and supportive though no antidepressants - getting the right help in place is the answer, though I foresee considerable difficulty before we can do that. We now wait to be contacted about a needs assessment, so not sure how long that is going to take.

What a valuable community this is. There is always someone who has been there and can empathise, and that is so helpful.
