Are there any famous or well known people you just dislike for no rational reason ?
Nigel Farage is one for me
Simon Cowell another. Never met either of them and probably never will but even before I knew what they were known for, something made me dislike them.

Blokes in tracky bottoms with no underpants on. ?

Oh god, her crooked mouth …. Creepy

Valels Fri 25-Jun-21 12:00:25

Oh so many, but the main one at the moment is Rylan Clark-Neal. I feel the need to wear sunglasses every time he smiles.... Ugh, those bright white teeth ?

Some celebrities look so smug and pleased with themselves that I instantly dislike them. Laura Kuensberg is top of my list followed by Donald Trump, Oprah Winifred and Angelina Jolie.

Life's far too short to dwell on negatives. Try focussing on the positives instead.

Tony Blair - those piercing, insincere eyes - never trusted him.
Keith Lemon - makes my skin crawl.
Meghan Markle - that switched on smile for the cameras, ugh.

I must have mellowed over the years. I used to stop my ears up when Harold Wilson, Clive Jenkins or Brian Clough were on screen.
I now really cannot abide Jimmy Carr's laugh.

Nannapat1 Fri 25-Jun-21 11:45:44

Or hearing Tony Blair...I must learn to proof read before posting ?

Nannapat1 Fri 25-Jun-21 11:44:31

Thanks for making me smile tiredoldwoman!
Could never stand watching ir hearing Tony Bkair speak. Can't stand Priti Patel speaking, or rather 'speakin'. Does she not know to sound the 'g' in 'ing' or is it a speech affectation ?

Agree with so many of these ‘dislikes’ - especially Naga - Nasty streak I think - no sense of humour although thinks she has also horrible grating voice - also Stacey Dooleys voice - just awful to hear - Amanda Holden - annoying and what a screeching laugh - she can sing however! - Perhaps I’ve just been watching too much television!

Summerfly Fri 25-Jun-21 11:38:27

Wish I had had Prof. Brian Cox as my science teacher, he's so clever and puts everything over so simply I may not have failed my GCE sciences.

Ilovedragonflies Fri 25-Jun-21 11:33:49

David Walliams (smug)
Susannah Reid (ditto)
Keith Lemon (voice and personality - odious twerp who gained popularity by belittling women)

I'm sure there are others but these sprang to mind immediately - all make my skin crawl.

Dominic Cummings from the first time I saw him on TV before any of his escapades happened.
He just has the look of a creepy con man the sort who knock on the door offering to tarmac the drive. Funnily enough OH feels exactly the same and we don't agree on much lol
