Hi, I am 51 and never expected to be separated/single at this age lol,
What are some of you best tips to help keep looking young - ish .
I put kiwi juice in my moisturiser and I feel it makes my skin feel a lot softer.

Don't smoke, don't drink are the obvious ones... and don't sweat the small stuff... worrying brings wrinkles and a frown! Eat healthy food. Meditation is also good. Smile and laugh as much as you can. Don't over dye your hair.. it can be very ageing. Go grey gracefully if you can. Have a natural look... no heavy make up as it collects in wrinkles and emphasises them!) Invest in a really good quality foundation and use it lightly. Sheseido and Clinique cover without caking. Be happy with who you are. Beauty comes from within.. not from any cream or lotion, despite what all the advertising tells us!!

Treat yourself to a professional facial now and again. Does wonders for your wellbeing and your skin will be glowing.

My Aunt would have been about 130 if alive, she had the smoothest skin I had ever seen in her eighties. She was a ladies maid to a mine owner in her youth and was always very ladylike, she always told me never use soap on your face she used oatmeal in a-muslin cloth to wash her face. Never put you face and hands in the sunshine ( always wear a hat and gloves!) As she got older she used Astral cream on her face.

Your as young as the man you feel , so go find yourself a toy boy & enjoy . Don’t change your ways for a new man unless you intend to keep the changes . Be your beautiful self , smile & hold yourself tall & always moisturise your whole body ever day

Sunscreen every day at factor 50. Tell the kids to start doing it too,

If you do that it's more than likely going to create a vitamin D deficiency.

Don’t try to look younger , just try to look your best .
Wear clothes that suit your colour season and wear the very best next to your face .
The right colour lipstick too and smile a genuine smile from your eyes ?.

NotaGran (and anyone else) do you have any tips on finding the right colour lipstick?
Whatever I try, it makes my teeth look more yellow.
And you have to buy the dratted things to find this out! envy

Fanny I am autumn and therefore warm undertones . Initially I bought the lipsticks from the company that ‘ did my colours’ which made it easy. With experience you then get an eye for what is right .

Thank you NotaGran I'm Autumn too (self assessed!)
I've got auburn hair and hazel eyes.
I think that my skin is neutral / warm.
It's just the teeth thing that gives me gyp. Perhaps I need something with a blue undertone?

I was advised by my skin oncologist to use factor 50 at all times and that everyone should certainly never use less than 30.

I take a vit D supplement, essential in the time of epidemic.

Fanny, I have the lipstick making teeth look yellow thing too. I only wear lipstick for going ‘out out’ but have found Poppy by Look Fabulous Forever absolutely brilliant and it makes my teeth look whiter. A really nice, not OTT red. They have lots of shades, categorised for warm or cool skin colours, and anything you don’t like you can return and get a refund even if used. All online. For everyday I use Christian Dior Lip Glow in Natural, pricy but moisturises, the tube lasts ages and gives a nice pink tint which doesn’t do unkind things to my teeth. They do other colours too but a fair bit to waste if you choose something that doesn’t suit you.
