Good Morning Everyone,
Its dry but part cloudy here in Brackley this morning, today small early shop then watch the Tour De France with its slightly early start ,late morning.
Yesterdays was with Cav getting another win, 3 to go for new record , also the situation with Cav resembles Andy Murray both returning from injury and illness , by delivering the goods when it matters most to the wider audience.
Take Care,
Mick

Enjoy your Grand Tour of Scotland, B9. You might see some of the work of Garry Shand whose chain saw carvings appear at NT venues and a garden in Sefton .
No longer ‘skipping’ past chat of MRIs, now running! ?‍♀️?‍♀️?‍♀️

Good morning all from a warm and rather cloudy Lancashire. Morning. It was a lovely day here yesterday so we decided to have a day out. Drove up the coast to Morecambe, parked at the Northern edge of town and had a lovely beachside walk. Fabulous views across the bay. Took a little picnic and sat on a bench and ate our lunch. Proper pair of old codgers! We only saw a handful of others but the town looked much busier when we drove through. Really enjoyed it after being cooped up for so long. I have some paperwork to deal with today and Mr. B will be working on the garden.

Wishing everyone the best day possible and may those with troubles find some comfort.

Happy Anniversary Greyduster flowers

Someone mentioned being afraid of having their head in a scanner. I have annual MRI scans of my brain since the injury and have found the best way to deal with it is to close my eyes, concentrate on my breathing and imagine I’m lying on a lovely warm beach somewhere. Those banging, rattling noises are workmen building an accessible ramp for wobbly people like me grin. I did actually manage to fall asleep in there last time, which amused the scan technician no end.

Good Morning all from an overcast Harrogate. Marydoll the weather forecasters are unfortunately unable to pinpoint the weather to any one area. I discovered this when I lived in Cults, Aberdeen. One winter I was driving to Peterculter (4miles), I drove through sunshine, a snow shower and arrived in cloudy weather. Another time, I left home in Sunshine, so I was totally unprepared for, in comparison, what was like freezing fog in Aberdeen. Glasgow, as you know, covers a large area and the weather can differ greatly.
Have a lovely day Greydusters
Hope you find out what's causing your pain Scentia
Keep safe, Keep well folks

A late good morning to you all.

The sun keeps trying to break through now in South Yorkshire and its feeling rather muggy.

I've just spent a good hour in the garden, tidying things up and thinning things out, so now it's coffee time.

Congratulations Greyduster to you and your DH for your wedding anniversary. I hope you enjoy your evening out. ???

I think I might sit in the garden and read my book after lunch and admire my handiwork whist I'm at it ?.

Take care everyone.

Thank you Ashcombe for your very useful info re MRI and train journeys. We are thinking of travelling by train to Thirsk in Yorkshire from Warminster soon and found your info very encouraging. It is a bit far to drive as DH has back problems so that could be the answer. I was born in Northallerton in Yorkshire next door to Thirsk and I have a yearning to make a visit.
Hope that you enjoy Crewe.
My best wishes Carole Anne.thankswinesmile

Perhaps I've missed it but it suddenly occurred to me that I've not seen anything from SheepandCattle for a while. Does anyone know why. Thank you

Just to say that everyone is very welcome to pop along to The Argy thread this evening. We’re putting our glad rags on, raising a glass and having a singalong in fond memory of grandmajet
Everyone is very welcome ?
