Yes lovely wedding dress but oh dear me look at the ghastly bridesmaid dresses !

The ‘mess’ was the queen mum’s dress and never ending veil combo.

Are you using your phone Fanny? Just press down on the selected image and it comes up as "save image" which then goes into your gallery to share.

To be honest I usually screen shot it and save to my photos often editing it too.

Speaking as a very ordinary looking person myself.

Andrew- handsome when young.

Queen Mother- rather plain all her life.

Margaret- Stunning in some of the photos Snowden took of her.

The Queen- not beautiful, but always lovely looking. Great hair and skin even in her 90’s. And yes, I know they have everything at their disposal to keep them looking good, but why not?

And yes, Anne’s hair does her no favours, but she can do it herself very easily apparently, and good on her for not caring what others think.

I admire her greatly.

So are Germanic Europeans maybe less attractive in general?

And just quickly to clarify , before anyone spoils Fanny's thread, I am talking more about DNA and physical attributes in Germanic Europeans. Nothing to do with Germans etc.

Got to be a matter of opinion surely ? Generalising hugely I think Italians Spaniards are good looking more often but then so are Scandinavians.

FC, I never really thought about it. Children’s looks are a bit like brains.
A combination of 2 first class degrees doesn’t always mean the children will be clever. Sometimes the children get a combo of the least attractive features or weakest skills and sometimes, they’re just not photogenic.

I knew a family and both parents were very, very plain but both children were just beautiful.

Mine, thank goodness, do not take after me. ?

I think it's the heavier features that maybe render royal Germanic faces less attractive, especially in photos.

Yes, Anne looked absolutely gorgeous; she was an incredibly beautiful woman.
It’s a shame she doesn’t make ‘more of herself, now. She’s got all the raw material - it seems a terrible waste!

Anne is not a glamour puss but she is still very slim, smart and has lovely skin. She does her own hair and makeup, wears all her old clothes which are altered to update them. She looks the business! Someone to admire.
