I don’t want this thread to be full of ‘oh it’s dreadful s’ there’s already two or more threads like that, but is there anyone else who actually enjoys a few REAL summer days …..in the summer.
I get quite down when I see cool, grey, windy or rainy summer days as our season is so short
I ve finished work and I m sitting in the garden with a coffee the kids next door have a pool in the garden and are butt naked jumping in and out screaming with delight, the swift’s are screeching and flying like jet planes and the seagulls calling to each other The sky is blue and the sun is strong (for once)
I could sing ( if I could hold a tune)
Is there anyone at all ?

I love the sun, blue skies etc. Its the oppressive humid atmosphere I can't stand.
Some friends visited us this week and they are used to living in the tropics and even they found the 32° heat of Worcestershire too much for them!
Mustn't complain though, it will soon be November. ?

Absolutely love it. The unfeteredness of clothing is bliss. So many advantages for me particularly with social life. No toting 'just in case' items like umbrellas. Total freedom and body's feel good factor truly delights me.

I love to see the sun every day as dreary grey days make me feel lethargic, but I don't cope well with humidity either. Ideally I'd prefer 25 deg. and cooler at night.

I love sleeping alone ... well, just with the cat .... there's no way I could share a bed in this weather.

I love all the seasons, and a crisp frosty sunny morning is bliss.

It's fine for sitting in the shade (feet in water) sipping iced tea - or lying in a cool room reading a book.

I'm just amazed that people can carry on activities, go out to work or deal with children though, as I'm simply disabled by the heat.

Chestnut, I hose down the house, morning and evening and open windows only in the early hours. I have sails, sunshades and blinds everywhere too!

I turn my face to the sun whenever it appears. I adore the sunshine and the heat, I live in Scotland though so a heatwave is an infrequent, but very welcome, event.

I hate being cold, my skin itches and cracks and sometimes I just can’t get warm. I’m a hothouse flower. grin
