Well we’ve done cheese to hilarious effect, what should we do next or is cheese the pinnacle?
What about fruit or vegetables?
Any suggestions or rhymes you clever gransnetters?
I need cheering up and calming down.

My fishbox came,
'Twas full of surprises
Lovely fishes of different sizes.

My local bakery has my favourite treat
A Lancashire pie with potato and meat.

We used to say meat and potato pie, but the most ingredient has to come first now !!!!

Blackcurrants are packed with Vitamin C
Their purple juice is as good as can be
But before you fill up the kids with Ribena
Make sure you have plenty of strong carpet cleaner!

What was the Snowman doing in the vegetable patch?
Picking his nose!

I really hate courgettes its true- so i would not open door to you! I prefer dumplings and a stew, ( so i might make some for dinner!) ?

Pears in a bowl, as hard as a rock
I’ll eat a Mars Bar instead

Pears in a bowl, still hard as a rock
I’ll have some jam and bread

Pears in a bowl, still hard as a rock
The Quality Street looks yummy

Pears in a bowl, still hard as a rock
You’re to blame for the size of my tummy

Pears in a bowl, all gone to a mush
Not a day when you were tender

Pears in a bowl, all gone to a mush
And heading for the blender

Pears in a blender, whizzed with banana
Served up with ice cream. Calorie manna.

Any green veggies get on my wick
Serve them to me and I’ll be sick
I much prefer deep fried cod or hake
Hence why I’ve put on so much weight!

Yikes I've just seen a mouse,
he's tucking in to my plate of scouse!

Eating onions will not cure bunions and its not a good idea to wear meat on your feet.

I eat apples with a lovely crunch
I think I'll have one with my lunch

A real Cornish pasty
Is anything but nasty.
A tasty pork pie
Makes you feel high.
A big sausage roll
Is good for the soul.
But here is the question,
Do they cause indigestion?
