Good Morning Everyone,
Its a dry but grey start here in brackley this morning.
Hoping my bus trips go to plan as I am aiming on Buckingham first, and then go to Bicester with a return to Buckingham to have lunch and then browse the flea market before coming home to watch the Vuelta unfold on TV .
I only hope the Buckingham bus link keeps to time and not causing delays .
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning Mick and all. Hoping you too can enjoy what is another sunny day in Glasgow Marydoll

It isn’t a bank holiday in Scotland, but being retired, I can decide whether or not it should be. ?

I must do a Google earth search to see what changes have been made in Mijas since we holidayed there 1980 Urms.

A warm welcome to you Rosycheeks
Best wishes for a speedy recovery Scentia and Gwen ?
Hoping your DH begins to feel an improvement soon Grey

Have a pleasant day all.

Good morning Mick, Annie, and Marydoll.
Can't make up my mind about the weather, it's dullish! with a little breeze. We shall probably go out for coffee later on, but at the rate we are going, it could well be lunch time.
Our Church has a coffee shop, where a group if friends always used to meet on Saturday mornings, but they do not open on Saturday any more, such a pity.
I managed to have a good day yesterday, with a surge of energy, so felt pleased with myself.
I have also finished knitting the cardigan, and just have to sew it up now and find some buttons.
Sorry to hear that you are confined to quarters Scentia, get better soon, and I send a gentle stroke to the guineas. They are such dear little creatures.
Hoping everyone has a good weekend.

Good morning, Mick and everyone from sunny Carlisle, and welcome, Rosycheeks.
I was interested to hear about your neighbour, Urmston, her experience was what I thought could happen to me, which is mainly why I only re-located as far as Carlisle and not to my beloved Spain.
A gentle day of sorting out is due here as I'm a bit under par though hoping to buck up and mow the lawn after lunch. I do so hate sitting about even if I have a good book on the go.
The boxes marked 'ornaments' which I thought couldn't possibly be all ornaments, are! Where to put them? I had a good cull before I moved and these are ones I definitely want to keep. I was spoilt at my last place, umpteen surfaces and shelves to put things on, so I did! Even if I wanted to get rid of some the charity shops apparently no longer want bric a brac. I don't blame them, younger folk just don't seem to have such things.
I hope the poorly and positive soon recover and wish us all a weekend of good weather.

Good morning from another sunny day in the North of Scotland. Welcome rosycheeks and what a positive name.
I’m off to read the full thread after a busy morning and will catch up on everyone’s news. Have a good Bank Holiday weekend.

Hope our DGC have a lovely birthday, what a coincidence!

Love your photos NannyJan. I will check out Brean Down whilst we are away next week ?

It's a bit of a climb up the steps NanKate. We just take our time and stop for a breather.

My late mum was a great one for ornaments EkwaNimity and as she had so many (but loved them all) she used to put some out, stash some away for a while then change things over and around every now and again. She bought them because she liked them and didn’t want to ‘get rid’. Just a thought?
