Ofcom have cleared Piers Morgan for saying on GMTV he doesn't believe a word MM says

I tried to post some of PM's tweets but for some reason they won't post. Those who can, go and take a look at his Twitter feed and decided for yourselves whether these are the tweets of a reasonable person, or the tweets of a person with no conscience who really, really wants people to talk about him and think he cares about war veterans and little children?

Examples: calling somebody a lickspittle and describing a footballer as braindead. Nice. I'm sure his mother loves him.

I don't do twitter or facebook so my opinion is based on see him on TV.

The freedom of speech thing is very difficult. Interpreted in different ways. PM should be free to say Meghan is a liar but Harry should not be free to say anything against the RF.

Is it about perceptions of "worthiness" do you think Lucca? Meghan is perceived as a jumped up gold digger, while Harry is perceived as a hen-pecked ingrate. While the RF are seen as idealised representations of Britishness who can't answer back.

While others try to discredit those who like to post facts rather than something they've just cooked up as an "opinion"

Oh yes ‘facts’. The internet is full of facts; unfortunately these facts aren’t always factual but each to their own. It’s a beautiful day and far too nice to spend it ferreting out ‘facts’ on google.

I don’t think ‘woke’ should be thought of in derogatory terms, although I do think they go too far sometimes. Don’t really like the way we seem to be headed - cancelling people for expressing opinions, name calling like Karen and Snowflake -doesn’t really achieve anything.

No one that I'm aware of has made a formal complaint with regard to any of the unsubstantiated claims and false claims given by H & M.

Yes, it tells me that the Royal Family treat Meghan and Harry's unsubstantiated claims with the contempt they deserve.

PM said he didn't believe her. He wasn't lying.
MM said she and Harry married 3 days before the big "wedding." It was a lie.
