Very sad to see she died today. Life isn’t fair is it!

grannyrebel7 Sun 05-Sept-21 17:56:17

Yes tragic, she was only 39. Always liked Girls Aloud. Cancer is such a cruel disease. RIP Sarah.

Very sad news.

BladeAnnie Sun 05-Sept-21 18:04:41

Very sad indeed - far too young. RIP?

love0c Sun 05-Sept-21 18:08:27

Really upset me. Can't help but wonder if her late diagnosis was due to covid. Just watched her audition. Hard to believe she has died.

Harris27 Sun 05-Sept-21 18:09:39

So sad. So young not fair is it?

Whitewavemark2 Sun 05-Sept-21 18:12:46

Poor soul. The younger you are the more vicious it seems.

I’ve never heard of her but sad to hear none the less.

lavenderzen Sun 05-Sept-21 18:17:23

So sad to read this. A beautiful young woman, taken too soon. RIP Sarah flowers

You are right WWM. My GP told me that older post menopausal women have much better outcomes from bc. than younger women.
I hadn’t heard of her either, but whoever it is, it’s so sad for everyone in this situation.

Such sad news

SueDonim Sun 05-Sept-21 18:39:15

Sarah Harding was only vaguely on my radar but for any young woman to succumb to such an awful disease is nothing but a tragedy. I’m so sorry for her family, too. sad

Urmstongran Sun 05-Sept-21 18:55:23

Tragic news for her family to bear. I can only imagine their grief right now.

Casdon Sun 05-Sept-21 18:57:07

Very sad, RIP Sarah.

Last summer, Sarah announced that her cancer had spread. I think she said it was terminal then. And in March said she wouldn't see this Christmas.
Awful that she knew so far in advance, but perhaps last August, 12 more months would have been a plus.
RIP Sarah

I lost a couple of friends from my BC support group. One was 24, the other 33 (with a 6 year old son). Their funerals were brutal.

frankiemf Sun 05-Sept-21 19:21:35

Very sad.
Our youngest daughter was a fan of Girls Aloud in her teens and used to copy their moves. Sarah always had a smile.

tickingbird Sun 05-Sept-21 19:30:20

Quite shocked me. I knew her prognosis wasn’t good but I didn’t think she’s succumb so soon. Very sad.

V3ra Sun 05-Sept-21 19:40:12

Same name and year of birth as my daughter. Very sobering news ?

Grandmadinosaur Sun 05-Sept-21 19:42:03

Very sad news. RIP Sarah ?

rafichagran Sun 05-Sept-21 21:02:48

Very sad news. RIP Sarah.

My daughter developed breast cancer age 35. Grade three ,stage three. Horrendous treatment and a recurrence ( fortunately local ) six years later. She is forty nine now and I am grateful for every day she remains well.

Grandmajean Sun 05-Sept-21 23:15:21

Sorry. That sounded "all about me" It was meant to give hope to others going through cancer treatment. Sarah's cancer had spread before she was diagnosed and stage four is treatable but not curable.

Heartbreaking. Her poor mother. ?

Far too young to die. RIP
