Good morning all.
It is not often I am jealous of anybody but Gwenisgreat I really am.
Llandudno is one of my very favourite places.
We had a caravan just a few miles away for about 10 years and my H and I have had some wonderful times there.
I only have the memories of both him and Llandudno now but they are very, very happy ones.

Grey and dry in the Scottish Borders. Lentil soup made and pizza dough ready for tonight. DD1 has Covid but feeling ok. Her little ones and husband negative.
Thank you Grandmattie for your post. Thinking of you.
Apologies have not read all posts. Best day possible wished for all Good Morning people.

A late good morning from Durham where it's very dreary out.

I'm not long back from a beautiful school Mass welcoming the new term and the children new to the school. It's such a joy being on the "otherside" without teacher supervision responsibilities (part of my past) during church services. I must say my three GC along with their peers, did themselves proud.

Later today we will be on school collection duty but for now I think I'll relax into some knitting I need to complete for Centreparcs in November (I'm well ahead of myself).

Welcome all new to this thread today and a special mention to grandMattiethanks.

Have the best day you can everyone.

Grandmajean, I'm rather partial to a sherry as well!

Grandmajean Mon 13-Sept-21 15:43:05

Will raise my glass to you, too then BlueSapphire

Another Sherry drinker here. It has to be Bristol cream . Cheers!

Grandmajean Mon 13-Sept-21 16:14:37

Ooh ! Gingster I was embarrassed to admit to Bristol Cream as everyone says it's too sweet. It's called something else now but it's delicious . I always get some at Christmas. Let's them all off the hook for that "little extra gift for Mum". I tend to buy the Waitrose version which is good.
You are on my "cheers" list now. Hope I can fit you all in because If I have a second glass I won't be able to make a meal afterwards !

Good afternoon from Suffolk,
It's gorgeous weather and a relaxed day here.
Of tomorrow to take 4 of my grandchildren to tea in Norwich. Should be interesting ha

Grandmajean and the Sherry crew. Having a Sherry always reminds us of Nanna from The Royle Family. As she used to say a Sherry at Christmas, whisky at New Year, champagne at wedding ... ??

I like Croft Particular too when I can get it! Just had an amontillado!
