Good morning all, I saw grandMattie’s reminder about summer storms and realised it’s best if I post now as our forecast also threatens thunderstorms and I might loose all WiFi.

It’s raining large heavy splotches of rain on one side of the house while the other is dry at the moment. The black Labrador is lying the rain looking confused by it all. I sometimes wonder if his skull is as thick as his coat!

DD and Dsil left late yesterday afternoon with both of them trying to make sure they’d left beds, sun loungers, towels, and fridge as clean and tidy as it was before they arrived. As their day started with an early morning visit to the test centre, I should think they were exhausted by the time they got home.

We both assured them that we could and would cope fine with any last minute bits and pieces but I think that as they are realising that we are now the oldest generation, DH and I should probably also accept any help graciously.

I’ve got a couple of photos that DD took of yesterday’s sunrise that I’d like to post but I’ll have to see if I can crop them a bit first.
