Hello

You may or may not be aware that I have started several threads related to rubbish collection.

I know that I’m not alone in my entirely healthy interest in all things refuse.

I have just heard that if you are in Berkshire, that instead of wheelie bins ; you are in receipt of sectioned and weighted bags.

They have a flap, and look a bit like a large handbag. They are totally weather proof (allegedly).

Is this true?

How do you get on with them?

Does anyone else have an exotic and unusual rubbish and recycling set-up?

Yours in anticipation smile

Great photo Greenfinch. I like the bag. As MOnica said, in occupied Berkshire we have black, green and brown bins, plus food waste green bins. The system works well apart from the recent glitch in garden waste collections.

Thanks for talking me through how to do it Aldom. Fancy that my first attempt at uploading is of a recycling bag.

Fanny here is the West Berkshire bag .

Not sectioned or weighted - they fly around the village when emptied if they haven’t been secured properly under one of the green crates.
