Good morning all from a cloudy North Leicestershire.

Not much on today - a trip to the florist, a little flower arranging, brunch to cook and then the papers and Strictly.

Good morning everyone from a drizzly Scottish Borders. My thoughts are with harri and Grandmattie. Nothing really planned bar a few hours with the grandchildren so DD and SIL can go for lunch.
Went round a few shops yesterday. Noted some empty shelves.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs from a grey, cold South Yorkshire. I had a really bad night; going to have to try and snatch a couple of hours today if I can. We have nothing much to do. I have some soup to finish making, and have to steel myself to tackle the neckband that will see my knitting finished. Anyone want to pop round and pick up some stitches for me??

Good morning from a very wet Torbay and likely to remain so!

Luckily, it was sunny as I unpacked the car yesterday after I arrived home from Portsmouth.. The weather was fine for my trip but the traffic wasn’t! A few miles of zooming along followed by queuing but the radio relieved the boredom. Thank you for the many kind wishes received from you lovely folk before I set off. The labyrinthitis from the beginning of my visit to France has cleared up, thanks, Gelisajams. Hope your bite soon heals.

At our amateur theatre, our volunteer Front of House staff wear masks as do some patrons, BigBertha1, so I would wear one if you feel more comfortable, at least when moving around. In France, mask wearing is much more in evidence in public places than in the UK, which is reflected in the decreasing number of cases generally.

grandMattie: you must be a great source of strength to your family and friends.. I’m glad you enjoyed your massage and hope Iris has a good birthday. Do take care of yourself through these tough days.

Oh, harrigran! Your experience with the pharmacy must be very frustrating and unforgivable in the circumstances so it’s no surprise you lost your cool. I giggled at your description of the delivery chap! ? I do hope your car key is soon found. My dear late mother always said that things turn up in the last place you look. Who knew?!

Luckily, I’ve secured a late booking for a flu vaccination, being offered today at a large centre where the Covid ones were done, so it should be well organised.

Morning Mick, morning All. Very windy and beginning to rain in our corner of Somerset.

Family meal later to celebrate a birthday, looking,forward to seeing everyone if not the trip along two motorways in the forecast wind and heavy rain. We plan to go early so I can stretch out before sitting at a table for a couple of hours. Wish the restaurant of choice was closer but how could we miss it?

Pleased the massage helped mattie. Thinking of you, harri and all finding life and uphill struggle at the moment. We still wear our masks bertha unless sitting down with food or drink. Seem to be in the minority though.

Good morning Mick and everyone from bright and breezy Carlisle. It was raining earlier when I got up and we are no doubt due a few showers.
I'm thinking of potting up and planting some of my big bag of spring bulbs, time is flying by so fast I can't keep up with it!
Other than that, nothing serious planned, I shall probably catch up with some reading, having abandoned thoughts of going out to the garden centre/having a coffee out as I think it best to conserve my petrol. I've been told it's no problem getting it round here but still....
Hoping all those with tough times find them eased.

The rain is tipping down so no excuse for me not finishing my crochet , I have done blankets for all my grandchildren so one dear child said the pets needed them two ! So I’m doing crochet rugs for both dogs and daren’t post one before the other ! I’m doing them the same so as not to accused of favouritism, but it does get boring I set a trend by sending a practice piece to the cat !

Son in law bought me fish and chips from the Van yesterday evening , delicious ! We only have it when my DD is out ! Of course the lingering smell usually gives the game away , but she’s not home till tomorrow ?

It’s a rather grey but dry morning but it’s looking darker by the minute and the forecast is for heavy rain this afternoon. Typical, as we’re booked for afternoon tea later, but as we will be inside it doesn’t really matter, I suppose.

I must admit, I’m still a mask wearer in enclosed spaces and when entering restaurants, but I’ve noticed a lot more people not bothering inside the supermarket, including some of the staff. It’s very easy to forget to put it on though.

Good Morning all from dismal and promising to be wet Harrogate.
Yesterday accompanied DH when he went for his flu jab, I asked if I could have one and so I had iut - must cancel the one from Boots in four weeks!!! That was supposed to be a quicker one to get, all I want now is my Covid booster, DH has had his.

Harrigran I do feel your frustration. It's a pity you can't get more respect from those who should know!!
I still wear masks, I hate them, I'm sure I could get an exemption, but I prefer to stay safe.
I should have gone to a funeral yesterday, but the deceased had been very popular so I was afraid it would have been too crowded for safety.
Might just spend most of the day in front of the telly

Good morning Mick and all from a wet Lancashire coast.
Bigbertha1 masks were worn entering the theatre the other day, but removed once sat down, I’m going to our local theatre tonight.
Haven’t turned the heating on yet so it’s chilly, but holding out a bit.
Good meeting at art group yesterday then we had coffee at new trendy revamped warehouse style place, first time for me and will go again when in town as the loos are lovely.
DS birthday today and sent him a case of wine and popped one of my own small abstract paintings in an envelope for his card with his name painted on the front. This arty business has its practical money saving side!

Good morning from a wet and breezy Oxfordshire, still on Nursing duty but things are getting better, I actually slept most of last night, more to the point Miss Oops wasn’t ill in the night, she didn’t sleep but I did! Which is a partial result.
Anyway, apart from providing drinks, pills and sympathy I have a free day, ignoring the dust and ironing.
Sympathies to granmattie and Harrigran life can be so tough.
