Good Morning Everyone,
Got up early , still dark , but its dry , today will see me bussing to Buckingham , and then to Bicester ,and hopefully return to Buckingham .
This is subject to HS2 work taking place ,and the rerouting of the bus from Buckingham to Bicester but I am hoping this will not happen .
Plans when I return home , to watch the final classic cycle race on TV on Eurosport from Lombardy area.
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning from sunny Colchester. A warm day here.
Had a lie in as it's my birthday and wedding anniversary (2 birds one stone!). We are not the celebrating type so DH and I are finishing off decorating the kitchen diner. It's something I've wanted ever since we moved here in March.
We've got a table booked at a local Italian this evening.

Happy to see Marydoll back and sending love to you all xx

Grammaretto, would appreciate the name of your restaurant on the Tweed, please. I'm often in that area and love
nice new places.

Good morning Mick and all from a mild but dull Lancashire coast.
Meeting a friend for exhibition and lunch in the gallery, one of my favourites. The exhibition is of ceramics, so nit my absolute favourite, but a reason to go.
Annoyed with myself as friend arranged to borrow my bicycle for an event and fixed a time, but I was downstairs in this split level house and didn’t hear the bell. It really is not loud enough (nothing to do with my hearing!) so off we go again on Monday..
Another musical run through yesterday for Xmas music, then I popped into Marks and Spencer, one of the group tagging along and bought avocados, cucumber (grateful for half portions) and general green things as feel I need them.
Met a theatrical acquaintance I haven’t seen for yonks and was shocked at her appearance. She said lockdown had plunged her into low spirits. She had a grey moustache and large grey eyebrows.
Thoughts to harrigran grandMattie ?

Good Morning all from dry Harrogate
Yesterday I had an interesting comparison, had to take 2 items back to 2 supermarkets, took a pair of trousers back to Asda, apologised because we couldn't find the receipt, no problem said they if you are happy with a voucher. Yes, that is fine so did some shopping, then went to Morrisons with a baking tin + receipt. It had some plastic on it, which I had noticed when I washed it, but there was no instructions about it on the instruction sheet. I told the girl i wasn't too impressed with the black plastic pasta on offer from the bake below it. Oh she said, " you can still use it, though" poking at the remains of the black plastic which was baked on. I said I don't fancy a cake with black plastic currants, which could happen! "Oh, I'll find out how to get you a refund then!"
Actually I'd have been happy with a replacement tin, and I would have known to take the plastic hook off before using.
Chocolate teapot springs to mind.
Harrigran I really think it's time you changed surgeries for one who cares?
I know your days will feel empty for a while GrandMattie but hopefully your family will support you flowers
Have a great day everyone

Lovely to see you, marydoll. Hope you are managing your health issues.❤️
Gramaretto, we had R 2D2 and a bunch of Lego flowers on Philip’s cardboard coffin. All very apt as he was a paper recycling engineer, loved Star Wars and Lego! ?

Good morning Mick and all from cool, cloudy Lancashire, hope you all have a peaceful, relaxed weekend.

I have been missing from‘Good Morning’ for a few weeks as I have not been very well and struggled to be compos mentis before noon. I’m getting better, have a negative PCR test, so now to concentrate on recovery yet again! What a selfish thing chronic illness can be, demanding time and energy.

Urmstongran Sat 09-Oct-21 11:27:45
