I don't mean the usual stuff, like a healthy family or so on....
Someone watched me write, and said she had always wanted to be left handed.
She wasn't sure why, she just did.

I've always wanted long, dark hair.

When I was at school I always wanted to be called Elizabeth. I think it might have been because there was a very pretty girl in my class with that name!!!!

Shaunwool Mon 11-Oct-21 10:42:02

MissAdventure. Maybe they wanted to be a bit different from other people

Nannarose that’s a lovely philosophy! I would like to adopt it please!

Perfect eyesight, so short sighted couldn't see my outstretched hand well enough to count the fingers - a real stopper for all sorts of sports and activities as contact lenses don't like water and can't last 24/7. Since cataract surgery I've 20)20 vision so I have what I always wanted! I have what I always wanted now and appreciate it every day.

I was / am left handed... let me explain... I got my hand slapped each time I used it "instead of" the right... so I'm ambidextrous. I always wanted a bedroom of my own - first I had to share with my sister, and now, with my husband.

I haven't got a garden at all. smile
Parrots, they intrigue me when they speak, but I used to care for someone who had one, and it made a terrible mess.

MissAdventure

I would like a parrot, a utility room, and a folly.

MissAdventure, Why a parrot? Would you like to train it to talk or just settle for a cheerful noisy greeting. We’ve just stayed in a country hotel with a parrot in one of the alcoves off the corridor. It really made me jump to be greeted with, “How are you all!”

I’d like a garden big enough to warrant a folly!

A few like me would like to play the piano. I would also like to speak French a lot more than I am able. I can just about read it but you never hear it here, not many French speakers around.

Ro60 Sun 10-Oct-21 23:35:08

Redhead That's something else I've always wanted! White hair -just doesn't happen in our family though

Rosina Sun 10-Oct-21 22:32:17

To feel secure.

PammyHoops Sun 10-Oct-21 22:27:05

I have always wanted to be able to speak another language.
I was not successful at school, I have tried joining evening classes and conversation groups but whilst I can remember some words I can’t seem to manage sentences.

ninathenana Sun 10-Oct-21 22:21:20

To be naturally slim and not have to work at it

Redhead56 Sun 10-Oct-21 21:52:10

I always envied my sisters who did not have red curly hair. Now I really miss my hair colour but have learnt to live with white hair.
