What have you "always wanted"?

To be free from anxiety.
I would like to have gone to university and got a degree.
I can't think of anything else.

So many of you wishing for stuff I hadn’t even thought of. Now my wish list is even longer, ooh tap dancing, that would be fun.

Shropshirelass if you do, buy a digital one - piano tuners are as rare as hens teeth these days and you have to take out a second mortgage!

I would love a detached bungalow somewhere near my 2 daughters.
Would also like a small waist.

As a child I wanted to have a sister and also wanted curly hair. Later I wanted a perfect figure with no need to watch what I ate.
Now I am satisfied with what I have - a good husband and family, and I like where we live.

A detached house with modern looking front and love those gravel drives, also lovely views from the rear patio window
and a terrace with manicured garden. I would have to have that fenced off so my dogs did not wander into the garden next door. On my front gravel drive is parked my shiny black rolls royce for when I am going anywhere.
These would be my first things to get myself when my lottery ticket wins.

In fact, what I really always wanted was not to be gawky.

I went to adult tap lessons but I was a disaster, no co-ordination at all.

Me too! My feet actually got tangled up at one stage ??

I could either do the feet bits or the arm bits but not both together.
And none of it very well!

A normal, quiet life: 2.5 children, attentive husband, no health issues. ?
To be able to fly around the dance floor like my dear Pa used to -any type of dance really...
A soft top convertible - but now, with GC, that idea has flown out of the window.
To play the saxophone.

I have always wanted to be able to sing in good voice and enjoyably for listeners.
Have also always wanted to be able to draw - and have other people (and myself)recognise what I have drawn.

For my legs to be at least two inches longer.

I always wanted a gypsy caravan for the garden. Now I can afford it, I no longer have the big garden for it ….. I’m now thinking more of a mobile home on wheels and becoming a fair weather ‘grey nomad’ and discovering my own country in my dotage ?

Curly fair hair like my mother. And a nose which turns up at the end. I used to lie in bed pressing my finger at the bottom of my nose hoping it would do the trick. It never worked.

A horse. It was the one thing I always wanted when I was growing up.

I’m tall, 5 11, 34” inside leg, it was the bane of my life at school and in my teens, wouldn’t change it from my 20’s on.

Play the piano, I have thought about buying one and having lessons before it is too late. My gran and uncle were marvellous pianists.

From a very young age I’ve always wanted these things:
Confidence. Hurtful comments about my height didn’t help.
Size 7 feet please. With being tall, I’ve ended up with size 9s ?
If there’s such a thing as pretty toes I’d like some please. I’ve long, ugly toes. ?
Own and ride a 800cc or above motor bike. Never enough money and now too wobbly. Been on the back of a few though. In the 60’s my father and a boyfriend had one.
Play the guitar ?. Tried so many times

Oh! I did grow ?to love my height.

I too would like the ability not to worry about things.

Also being able to paint a wonderful painting. I can paint but not to a brilliant standard.
