What have you "always wanted"?

I'd like to win the premium bonds so that I can give money to all my friends so they are comfortable and don't have to worry.

I'd buy myself a little canal boat to potter around on. A deck chair for the summer and a wood burner for the winter.

Beautiful hair which stays lovely all the time with no effort.
Ten nice nails all at once.
Flat stomach.
A slighter larger double-fronted house with two matching herbaceous borders.

As well as more quiet in the world, I'd like a bicycle saddle that I actually find comfortable.

Hetty58, that thought was running through my mind, while reading these wishes.
I had 'it', but you never realise it until 'it's' gone.

Oh, the being tall(ish), being slim, straight hair, nice teeth, etc.

I would have loved a Citroen, the sort from the 50's, with a sloping bonnet.

Now I am just happy to keep going, albeit it much more slowly.

I always wanted:

naturally lovely teeth
to be a bit taller (5ft 1)
a small waist
some talent or other, like playing an instrument or being bilingual

I am counting my blessings, as I have a few of the things people are wishing for. I am tall and slim, and I can (or rather could) sing.

However, I wish I could draw. I have zero talent, and have been envious of people who can draw since infant school. I would like feet that don’t hurt. I’d like more energy.

Above all, I wish I had a daughter. I have a granddaughter now, but it isn’t the same. I always wanted girls, but got boys. They are very nice boys, but still……..

I would like to be five feet four (currently five feet and half an inch) but that ain’t going to happen.
I would also like a Hardy Ultralight Xtreme fly fishing rod (and matching reel please!). But that ain’t going to happen either! ££££!!!

To be able to play the piano. I had lessons when I was a child but gave it up. My mother said I would regret it and I do.

I can't think of anything I'd change - or really want - so I must already have it!

To have a different body shape. I’m very pear shaped and buying clothes is a nightmare! And I would love to have been 2 or 3 inch taller too.

Hard tough toenails are an asset when you spend your life in hiking boots and wellies. (I have nice feet, btw). A hill-running friend of mine did not have that tough toenail asset and regularly lost toenails during her extreme runs! Ouch.

Oh, and the toenails are tough and hard also!

Nice feet. Mine are awful, bent, hammer toes. Can’t wear pretty sandals.

Still, they walk me around, could be worse.

I’d like a globe. A big one. I’ve always admired them but haven’t got the space for one. I have a wall map of the world but it’s not the same. I like to see the proximity of Canada to Russia - they’re at either end of the laminate on my poster!

A tiny house, I've always been obsessed with them. I'd have to wait for all these pesky children to.move out first, 1 down 4 to go

To be tall, oh how lovely would that would be!
To have had a close family growing up - though I am sooo grateful to have a very close family of my own now; I appreciate every day that our boys and our grandchildren have the closeness to us that I yearned for in my childhood.
To be happy in my own skin - I so admire people who just don't give a damn.
So wish I had tiny, tiny boobs!
