Good Morning Everyone,
Its a dark and dry start here in Brackley this morning , Yesterdays trip to see the last Bond film was OK , enjoyed it , the reason I say last was it gave me the impression the way the story went ,and the film ending a Lois Armstrong number from an earlier Bond film as well.
Today usual trip to Bicester later on the bus , coffee etc at the bakery cafe and small shop after .
Take Care ,
Mick

DH tried to start the day at 5.30: am which was infuriating. He went back to sleep, I didn’t. Boiler fixed though the cause of its sulk is unknown, but at least we won’t need to warn people not to stand down wind of us. Double jabbing for us this morning and a WI book group for me this afternoon, so as long as I can stay awake all should be well.

Thoughts with harrigran and all having a tough time.

Morning Mick, morning All from a bright, clear corner of Somerset.

Good day yesterday including an outing to a shopping centre. A day at home tidying and dust removing for us today. Heard last night one of ours had three positive lateral flow tests yesterday, waiting on a PCR result, it’s left us edgy.

Wishing you both an enjoyable anniversary grandMattie. That sounds a proper ouchie Blossoming, rest today. Falling is frightening as well as painful. Yesterday sounds fun kitty, a belated happy birthday to Wolfie. A huge hug to you and your husband harri, I’m sorry your husband is so shut away from you, especially today. Pleased you enjoyed the film mick.

Take care everyone. Hope Thursday is gentle with us all.

Good morning all.
Such a poignant time for you Harrigran. My thoughts are with you .
You are a brave lady GrandMattie
15 Covid cases in my two youngest GC's primary school. Not good.
Have as good a day as possible everyone.

Good morning from an overcast N. Bucks.
A morning of bits and pieces for me. Finish tidying my craft room ( again) so I can actually find things and decide what I need to buy for a couple of projects.A bit of housework, decide on cakes to make for Sunday. This afternoon is knit and sew club. Must see if I can get some petrol, though the situation seems better around here.
Healing thoughts to all who need them and hope everyone can find a smile in their day.

Good morning from a cloudy but still mild Black Country.

A quiet day yesterday, until I had a phone call from SIL asking if I could take DGD4 to swimming after school, as he had hurt his foot and couldn't drive. So a 40 minute drive to their house to meet DGD then a 20 minute drive to swimming! NannyJan to the rescue smile

No real plans today, but somehow the days are filled and fly by.

harrigran my heart goes out to you, such a sad situation for you flowers

Enjoy your day everyone

Good morning from a cloudy Essex by the sea.

It is DH's birthday today, old enough to receive his state pension now. We are going out for a meal this evening to a local pub.

Happy Anniversary to the Grandmatties and also the Harrigrans.

Food shopping beckons this morning if there is anything left on the shelves and I'm sure DH will hear from his daughters and grandchildren later.

Have a pleasant Thursday everyone xx

grandMattie pleased you enjoyed your anniversary meal ?

Not sure what I am doing today, I didn’t sleep that well and could be lazy, but then I will feel guilty for wasting a precious day.

Good morning Mick and all from a cloudy Lancashire coast. Glad you enjoyed the film Mick, I just don’t fancy it. Seen a couple as everyone does, but find them boring.
The cat decided to sleep next to me in its cosy round bed last night for the first time in months, nice. Maybe because it’s getting colder.
The lunchtime recital yesterday was very good, a 14 year old violinist exceptional. It takes some practice to achieve that.
Such a hard time for you harrigran and thoughts to grandMattie?

luluaugust Thu 14-Oct-21 09:53:00

Hope the foot improves soon Blossoming.
